Hi Lisa, here is an idea for the "something" in what to do with tree stumps:

Do you feel better in the morning?
Good morning, JifI think we're heading that way soon here. Recently we decided to try the wedge pillow because i noticed he doesn't snore as much or as loudly when he's in his recliner. So far the wedge is working pretty well, but I still think he has sleep apnea so I'm sure down the road, we'll be getting a CPAP for him too. I'm just glad he's getting better sleep...which means I can get better sleep. His snoring I could deal with, but the sudden breath catching...that was hard to deal with. Every time he stopped breathing, I'd wake up and stay away until he caught his breath and fell back to sleep. His dad has a CPAP and claims he's never slept better.

I got lots to play with. It may be hard to see, but just on this side of the house alone are over 20 stumps, all but 3 are sitting on top of the ground.I've got to cut out a pine tree thats encroaching on our pavilion and I'm considering doing something with the stump as well. My first thought was also some sort of table top for it, let us know what you end up doing! Turning it into a planter is a great idea also.

Good Morning Reo-fam! Big hugs for Lisa and Torey. It would be nice if we can have their nicks and maybe a little bit about them so we can say a proper prayer.
Have a sparkling day everyone. Def a riding day today. Zoooom......Craasshhhh!!
My friend's name is Denna...I miss her so much.Good morning, JifI think we're heading that way soon here. Lisa, If you bury those stumps on a property with an artesian well, you may wind up with heavy manganese in your water. Might be better to get a permit and have a nice bonfire. Oh and bring marshmellows!![]()
Good morning to you, my friend.
That breath-catching also worried the crap out of my wife. I used to do that constantly. Not any more. A doctor's visit is the first step so he can schedule Wayne for a sleep study. Then, the sleep study is next, then once the sleep people find the apneas, they will let the doctor know and he will prescribe a CPAP machine. Then, you go pick it up. That's the way I understand it anyway. That was my line of progression. My insurance covered the sleep study ($1,000) and also the CPAP machine with face mask ($2,300) You'd have to check and make sure yours does also. Either that or just come out of pocket, but yikes.....$3,000.
I think this CPAP will keep me alive for far longer than without it.
If I had health insurance now, it would cost me about $400/month with a $7600 deductible...and that's the cheap plan. So last October I went and had a full physical including full blood work and ultrasound to check on my cancer. I spent $1200. Clean bill of health (thank goodness) but I can't afford the $4800/year and get nothing from it if I had it, never mind the deductible.
Thank you!I just checked and they are available for purchase on eBay. They're about $500. This would probably be your best bet. They're easy to understand and use. The only thing that would be iffy is that you are supposed to have a certain air flow number that you dial into the machine that is specific for your needs, but my machine auto-adjusts throughout the night to maintain an open airway, so that gets rid of that issue. Mine is Philips Respironics System 1. That and a hose and mask and he's in business.

Huh...I'll have to check that out. We have a community well we draw from...when I was saying bury, I don't mean bury all the way. Just putting them back in the ground like they were. Would that still be a problem? I know I have too many and will need to burn some of them.
