Hey Everyone!
Just stopping by REOville for some catchup, no I did not say Ketchup even tho we are supposed to hit 80 today and the grill will be fired up when I get home. I have been out of town (REOville) for a spell and need to catch up on my reading.
I hope everyone is having a blast, enjoying themselves and the warmer weather. I miss this place, but been having fun rebuilding my Goldwing and that is taking a bunch of time.

Supposed to be around 80 degrees today! Yikes! And the stinkin management has control of the AC so i suppose I'll just have to do a lot of heavy sweatin cuz they're all so lazy they won't bother to turn it on.( They "failed" to inform me before i moved here that they controlled those things)
Another reason I'm getting the hell out of here just as soon as i find another old folks home.
Dam, I'm in a bad mood already and I went to bed the very same way...wahhhh!

I thought of you today. I was eating one of my homemade cookies while sitting and waiting for a train to pass. Just coming home from Jungle Jim's.
I am going to check the ingredients of these homemade goodies and see if you would do o.k. with them. Grain free, gluten free but have eggs in them.

We hit 86 yesterday. Today will be close to the same. At work I just shut everything for the hottest part of the day. Kept the fan on. It was fine.
Here at home I shut the blinds and will turn on the fan if needed later. No AC for me yet. I can usually do without it with fans and a dark house!
I am such a wuss when it comes to being hot. But then we have wet heat here in GA. Dry heat I can deal with, but not heat that hits you in the face and your entire face is wet within 5 seconds. I knew I was in trouble when I moved here and learned that our area is considered "tropical". I have to turn the air on to lower the temp AND the humidity.

I know what you mean! Lived in Florida for about 5 years. I will NEVER again live there! 98 degrees and 98 % humidity! And I did it a year without air conditioning! And I was pregnant during that time!
Also lived in Las Vegas for 7 years. Hot, very low humidity if any. I would live in that climate again.
Here we do get some humidity. Sometimes it's high and for sure I use the air conditioner. Yesterday and today are nice. Humidity is about 58%. A little high but not too bad with the windows closed and a fan.
Don't you love taking a shower and sweating before you dress? Did that many times in good ol' Florida!
