Well, I'm up way past my bed time...still trying to process the week. When it rains, it pours. Had a grumpy house last weekend, lots of stress and frayed nerves...then we had it out. then the 18 yo daughter and her mother got grumpy and the next day mom kicked her out of the house spurring a whole nother tail spin...still working through that. Tonight got a call from our niece who needed to "deal with some stuff"...so we (both of us) kept her on the phone for about two hours and helping her find her feet again, so to speak. Besides working all this time and preparing for a meeting tomorrow morning, I'd say we had a productive week....but geez. Tomorrow will be hectic...morning meeting, random phone calls, appointment at noon, random errands and then picking up Karen at the airport a few hours later. Have no idea what we'll do once she arrives besides getting her to her hotel to check in then find some good grub. Karen, are you sure you're ready for this ride???

I finally just caught up and must get to bed. Just wanted you all to know I've missed you this past week.

Speaking of Chat, is the ECF IRC channel still operating? I had bad experiences (Racist or Ethnic "jokes" the first two times I tried it and sent an email off to the IRC chat manager. Never got a response and can't log in now. Connection refused. I't be nice if it's operational and we could get a Reo Lounge going there, admission by pic of your Reo only......

never tried ECF chat. i've only used the FaceBook Reonaut group chat.

that works fine until the pink-toed rat drops you like a cold stone...

IRC channel.......I don't even know what that is. Gosh I need to go back to ecf kindergarten.

IRC=Internet Relay Chat. I've been into computers long before the IBM PC was born so I forget that some people won't find the acronyms easily discernible. The good thing about it is a whole bunch of people can chat in real time. You can also start private chats with people or a person. No need to refresh anything, it all happens in real time.

Good morning Reoville. I fell asleep last night way too early and woke this morning way too early. Last night the leg was feeling little "off." Just a sort of generalized aching telling me to give it a day off tomorrow. THe good part of not having to get your kick stands up at any particular time is that if you wake up early or late it doesn't matter because you can make it up later, no problem.

Yesterday when the physical therapist showed me how to get in and out of my car I sat there showing her how I can work the gas, brake and clutch easily. I told her I can drive, no problem. She said they'll probably tell me next week at the drs. office "Two more weeks." ugggg....

Coffee is just starting to kick in now.

My brother just fired up his new Harley and is heading in for work at 4:30 AM. Its actually the first time he's driven it in the dark. He is getting his 1000 mile oil change, torque checking on bolts etc. at the shop today so he's riding it in to work then to the shop.

Good Morning REOvillians!

it's cool Fleet, IMHO.

i've admitted a number of personal things in this thread, and other than that she-devil Val, no one minds or laughs....

Val knows i love her :)

Look at the (purple) flowers Den :D

Does anyone mind my sharing of my life? I like you all and would rather that you know me better, no holds barred. But I'm being to personal I'll drop it.

Next on my list is what it's like to have ECT (Shock therapy for depression and what not) Some might like to know, and there are some funny parts as well as serious issues.

I don't want my welcome here revoked and I appreciate how others feel. That's why I ask....

So far, so good, but I'd never want to offend anybody. I think I'm going to do an autobiography sometime here in the near future. I've so many stories to tell and while some may not resonate with some they certainly will with others. Do let me know if I'm violating any ECF rules. The only drugs I've talked about are those that are prescribed to me for my condition. And I bet a lot of folks have been there/done that but don't want to talk about it. Might just like to know they're not alone....

If I get 5 likes on this post I'll continue.... Otherwise, PM me if you want details.

Just be careful not to mention drugs that may be searchable by someone wanting to find illegal drugs and leading them here. Or giving identifying information for the stalkers (Den included) to find your real self. I think those are the main rules you risk breaking?

Morning everyone,
Been a while since I posted
How's it going Dennis

Good morning, REOvil!

Just popping in to say have a safe and fun trip, Karen!

Mom's more detailed tests came back, and it's not good. The artery to her brain is actually 80-90% blocked (original estimate was at 70%), and she has an aneurysm at the base of her brain, so the vascular surgeon can't fix the artery until we find out more about the aneurysm. He mentioned the name of the neurosurgeon that all the nurses here call Dr. Death and Mom went into a full panic attack. By that time we were in the front office with the cute little girls that answer the phones and not much else. Mom was shaking so bad and solid red from her neck to her face and nobody would even go get the doc, check her blood pressure....nothing! We drove to her primary doctor and he was out of town for a few days. :grr:

Anyway, I'm spending every moment with her and will probably be scarce here for a little bit again. Any calming, good vibes that can be spared will be much appreciated.

She still isn't smoking though!
