thought one of my good chargers was busted cause when i put a baattery in it would only go red for a couple second then green turns out the voltage setting slipped to the low setting Doh !

I have one that flashes red and green alternately if you put the battery in the wrong way around, which Smurf has done a few times."Trunker - the battery charger is borked - it's charged - no it's not - yes it is - no..."

Put it in the other way!

Good evening, all!

Fleet- glad to see you're still playing. the reason i asked about the hand is my right hand went numb 5 years ago and is more or less worthless. you may want to get yours checked.

Giving drumsets to to others' kids is the gift that keeps on giving...
:)

Yeah, I'll get it checked out if it doesn't go away. It's the least of my worries at the moment though (even though I shouldn't be "worrying" at all.) It's a little better so as long as it doesn't get worse and slowly gets better then I'm happy. It takes a lot to get me into the Dr.s these days but if it continues I'll go. It's not at a point where it stops me from doing anything which is a good thing. And I'm of the age where things are just going to be different. I'm closer to 60 than 50 so somethings I'll just take as they are.

Also, I've had my back problem for ages and nobody can seem to figure out exactly what it is. They know there are some bad discs, some arthritis, stenosis, etc but they can't pinpoint exactly where the pain comes from so there's not much they can do. I've lived with it a long time and have adjusted my lifestyle so I don't do things I know will aggravate it. Sometimes I have no choice but I'm pretty careful nowadays knowing that if I do something I'll pay for it for days or weeks. Didn't help that I went down some granite stairs a couple of years ago (on ice) and the area I landed on is still very tender to the touch. So, I just compensate for these things and continue on my journey :)

You spotted me. I always try to stay up with Reoville though I don't post much. It is the easiest thread to like every post.[emoji1] I love how everyone shares about their day and lives and knows each other intimately.

Yes, Reoville is a special place, indeed! And there are lots of very special people here. I like hearing from the regulars on this thread (and newcomers as well) just to know how they're doing. It's a pretty "real" place and some of us may not have others to check in with on a regular basis. I'm one of them. I was "transplanted" against my desires to the place I now live and I don't make friends quickly, if at all. But I've got some here, of that there is no doubt. Everyone has things going on in their lives that can range from nuisance to downright awful. They have my ear and a place in my heart.... Or if life is exceptionally good for someone, I want them to share that with me as well. It's all about caring.....

Good evening everyone :)

Nother long day...but a good one. Went to the property and just sat in the house this afternoon..(it's all framed in now) and enjoyed the view and listened to the chatter of our avian friends and neighbors.

tnt...your post moved me...and a short while after reading it I found myself sitting in front of my father in law as he regaled us with his stories of war and peacetime hijinx in the navy. And I was reminded of your post. Then after coming home, I ran across this little tid bit. I have no words, only the desire to share it and send the old guy my love and appreciation.

And finally, tonight as I waited for Teagan to return from her trip to the capital, I used my time wisely....

i adore (and am jealous) of the house pics, Lisa, i wish at least once in my life, i had worked up the cojones to do that.

Hi Dennis
to be honest...I never thought in my wildest dreams we'd ever actually do this. Sure, we've dreamed, but never had it together enough to do this. But we worked hard and figured out a way. it's much more complicated than just renting though, that's for sure...so there's good and bad. If you're ever out this way, I'm happy to welcome you to our little chunk of heavan and show you round. :D I can share it with you for a short while. ;)
