I have a question; the color Rob described as 'Silver' two years ago, was that silver anodized ? or was it a Powder Coat? I once had an OG Mini that color, would like to find a Grand like that. It would be nice if I could actually know what I'm asking for...
All I do know is it was a tough little finish that looked good with an RM2 and a silver drip tip.

Good morning, REOvil!

Grandpa is doing well...ate a little better yesterday and is getting his sense of humor back. Asking for shots of whiskey and flirting with his nurses. :D

Sister's doctor appointment yesterday was very good. Cholesterol and triglycerides are back in the normal range and she lost 6 pounds. I've been doing all the grocery shopping and cooking, so I hope that is a good indicator that Mom's cholesterol is also improving.

Mom's angiogram is Tuesday. StepDad was going to take her...but when we found out he planned on dropping her off at the door and driving on to see his family a couple more hours down the road, I decided to take her. Houston is only about two and a half hours away and we are already packing the car today, like we are driving for days and staying for weeks. I wish we were taking a road trip just for kicks, hopefully she will feel well enough to have a little fun.

Just happy that things seem to be improving and hopeful that everything keeps going in positive directions.

Peace, love and happy Saturday everybody!

Good morning all! Fell asleep at my desk at about 4am and woke up about 8am. Methinks I'm going to need a nap today :)

Oh, how I wish I could have seen that site! Fleet bent over his desk with a Reo in one hand, a pen in the other, his sheriff badge pinned on, his computer monitor glowing ECF, snoring away, dreaming about his son. Now, that is why Fleet is number one in my book. He never leaves his post when on duty! Love ya man!!

AAAAANNNNNNDDDDD a good morning Reoville!

If you ever go to a hydraulics shop to get one or more of these o-rings tell them that you need a Hercules part number 568-012 for the grand and a 568-008 for the mini. These are kind of a standard part number that most every shop can recognize!

Hi Rick, glad you got your woodville. There was a post not too long ago, I think in this thread on the size of that o-ring. Let me see if I can find it.... Here you go, it was a post by "tobarger":

10mm ID x 1mm thick & 10mm ID x 1.5mm thick
The two sizes sold by Rob on reosmods.com

Someone else had mentioned that the material used for the o-ring is nitrile. I just measured one for the 6ml cap and it appears to be the 10mm ID x 1.5mm thick. Actually my thickness measurement was closer to 1.65 but measuring rubbery stuff with my calipers is not an exact science, especially with little sleep. See if you can find one of those then order a couple from Rob so you have the exact size, maybe get some extra bottles, too. They're good to have around. Also if you're using an RM2 maybe a couple of screws for the posts. None of it is expensive but since you're paying for shipping might as well stock up on a few parts to make it worth the postage.

Hope that helps you and good luck!
Fleet

Edit: I'd go with Alamedean's numbers.... I was just copying what someone else wrote and I know my measurements were off.

I hear ya. Hopefully they got what you need. They should though I don't know if they will be nitrile or not and you definitely don't want something that will react to juice.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out Rick. I know on the regular grands AW 18650 1600mah are the recommended batteries. I don't know what size the woodvils take so I can't answer other than AW is likely the recommended brand. More mah isn't necessarily better. But someone here will know and chime in....

Enjoy my friend!
