im having a hard time excepting my sweet kitty is gone i realy loved my bubby

What happened with Oscar is very sad Scott. It is tough when us people that live alone lose our companion.

But now you realize that letting a cat go out on it's own can be dangerous. They love the outdoors but it can come with a price.

When you get another little kitty keep him in, and safe. They really won't miss the outside if they never explore it. Cats can just be indoor and live a happy life.

SCOTT!!! I just heard the news. We are so sorry to hear about Oscar and even found myself shedding a few tears for his loss. We lost my baby Beau a few months ago, and it is so hard! You will both be in my thoughts and prayers.

I hope you find a new kitty to help ease the loss. Bella was waiting for me at the shelter, and I found her the day after Beau passed but couldn't pick her up for days. I visited her every day, sometimes twice so when she was ready to come home she knew her new name and that I was the friendly face that brought treats. After Bella has been here for a little longer, and is fully grown and used to being in the house, I may get a halter to take her out but for now she is content inside with me. I can't let my little ones outside on their own (we have coyotes, hawks and owls in addition to dogs and cars so cats don't last long out there). She looks like Beau, and for me, it is so much easier to pour all the love into a new one than to constantly dwell on the loss.

Hopefully just the right kitty will fall into your heart and home at just the right time for both of you.

Good day Reo-fam! Hot and humid here on the Maine coast. Heading out to the pool with the kids. Was gonna grill for lunch but at this point I think it will be cold subs and chips. I better go out for some frosty adult beverages also, before the heat index goes up any higher.

Much love going out to all our family who needs it. I guess we've all lost loved ones but it just never gets any easier. It's got me thinking me about the 5 perfect kitties I lost in one month. I even poisoned them myself! I hope you all have found some comfort here with us.

Hugggss and backslaps.....

Ed, you can't possibly keep thinking that you poisoned them yourself! That was NOT your fault at all?! I will ONLY buy USA made stuff now, but I too fed my little ones whatever the stores sold thinking it was safe. I am so sorry this happened to you, but you must not blame yourself. It could have easily been any one of us!

((huggs)) to you too my friend!

Huggs for Val. No I don't really blame myself, yet I keep coming back to an undeniable truth, ya know? I was paying extra for science diet, thinking I was doing right for my kitties and even switched to Eukanuba while they were getting sick, just in case it was the food. Turns out they were both made by the same company. The only pet food companies that did not use foreign fillers were Purina and Blue Buffalo. So Tabitha only gets Blue.

I expecially miss our little white kitty. Stone deaf with crystal blue eyes. He demanded a hug and an eskimo nose rub each day before I even took off my coat and when we played hide and seek, pretended to look the other way while I hid. Truly advanced for a cat in all ways. And another one, a persian, I had gotten just after getting out of the service in 1987. She was 23 years old. I named her Hobbes for her human-like language, rife with question marks or sounds of joy or sadness. Very easy to understand what she was feeling. They were all allowed to realize their true potential and I miss them all dearly.

god i have to get off of here

Well the system failed. Luke I'm really surprised.

I will never ever give up. I've got a person in the highest place. And my Angles are here to protect me.

Just keep ^ THOSE ^ positive thoughts in your head. You have been on my prayer list, so hopefully a few of my Angels are watching out for you too :)

Thank you for your kind words. I guess I'll just deal with this my own way. Love this Forum,, and all the people I've met here. I think it's time for a check out. Maybe yes, maybe no. Who knows?

It's Tuesday...still feels like Monday. Good afternoon everyone :)

It's slow today...email is quiet. Wondering if all our clients are out shopping at the new retail stores in town. Oh well, I'll take this calm before the storm. I have a meeting with a new client in an hour or so, so I'm just filling up on tea and relaxing while I can. :)

Hi Lisa!

A nice bit of slow is a good thing! A recharge before going out for your meeting.

Wishing you a very calm production cycle!

Keep well nourished and drink plenty!
