The fact that they didn't rush her in for the angio is a good sign right? It means they don't think it is emergent and can wait for the sicker patients to get done. Just remember that she is in good hands, and they will make sure everything is checked out well now while they figure out the best plan for her.
Remember what I said about taking care of yourself Jen, I mean it! I realize that she wants the comfort of you being there, but if you get run down you won't be any good to her! I once spent some time sleeping in an ICU waiting room and would get a hotel every other day or so just to shower and try to nap a bit, so even though I worked in CCU/ICU I have actually been where you are now, just visiting and not wanting to leave. But you have to be in top form to comfort her, to take in what the staff is saying, and then when it is time to take her home to drive.
And you have my number - I am available 24/7 for you. It is never too late or early to call, you won't disturb anyone at all.
Oh, and good job vaping in the bathroom. It makes much more sense than getting lost in that place
