Hello REOvillians
I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep so thought I would check in.
Sorry to hear about flooding PENNYSMALLS, I know all about that! We haven't had any rain to test our new drainage yet, but we could sure use it here in California. There were some frightening moments with the last major downpour involving 3 sump pumps and a lake in the backyard
threatening the living room and bedroom, and water wanting to come in the front door from the way the landscaping and gutter were. It was a close call, but now I sure wish we would have a downpour to test all the work done
Last night at about this time I was waking up poor DH because the plumbing in the kitchen backed up, sewage in the kitchen sinks is no fun. I had dirty dishes and pots and pans left to do from all the cooking and eating we all did (which was a success).
Bella enjoyed playing with the snake (I however was not at all
thrilled to see her wanting to chase that thing, I know where it has been!), and DH was finally able to get it draining again using the clear out in the back yard. Since the girl who comes to help me out was coming this morning, I needed to get all the stuff that I can do done so she can concentrate on the stuff I can't (pretty much anything high or low she does, I can't bend down or do ladders). If I leave any dishes she will do them, and that is a waste of her time so I was up until pretty early this morning sterilizing the kitchen sinks, counters and then finishing the pots and pans.
Have a great day everyone, I hope no one else has any more flooding!
