You didn't see my wife and I running up and down Main Street blowing clouds out our windows with our Reo's in our hand. [emoji3]

We actually just left. [emoji20] I would have sent you a text, but I did not want to seem too weird.

I wouldn't have thought it was weird at all! I thought about sending you a pm, but wasn't sure if my Mom would have been up to a meet and greet. Next time!

Yeah, we're about an hour southeast of Chicago and the official reading is 5.1 inches of rain last night in our town. Most of the water has drained with the exception of the back corners of the basement. shop vac and floor fan time! I wish we had a sump pump!

Sorry to read this, Penny! I hope you are dried out soon!

Good evening everyone. Just got back from my sister's house. My nephew is taking off tomorrow back to Monterrey. He's in the Air Force attending the Defense Language Institute and we haven't seen him in a few years. He's all grown up now! Funny how the military does that to folks. Anyway, it's time for bed now. Y'all have a really great night!

Hello REOvillians :)

I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep so thought I would check in.

Sorry to hear about flooding PENNYSMALLS, I know all about that! We haven't had any rain to test our new drainage yet, but we could sure use it here in California. There were some frightening moments with the last major downpour involving 3 sump pumps and a lake in the backyard threatening the living room and bedroom, and water wanting to come in the front door from the way the landscaping and gutter were. It was a close call, but now I sure wish we would have a downpour to test all the work done :D

Last night at about this time I was waking up poor DH because the plumbing in the kitchen backed up, sewage in the kitchen sinks is no fun. I had dirty dishes and pots and pans left to do from all the cooking and eating we all did (which was a success).
Bella enjoyed playing with the snake (I however was not at all thrilled to see her wanting to chase that thing, I know where it has been!), and DH was finally able to get it draining again using the clear out in the back yard. Since the girl who comes to help me out was coming this morning, I needed to get all the stuff that I can do done so she can concentrate on the stuff I can't (pretty much anything high or low she does, I can't bend down or do ladders). If I leave any dishes she will do them, and that is a waste of her time so I was up until pretty early this morning sterilizing the kitchen sinks, counters and then finishing the pots and pans.

Have a great day everyone, I hope no one else has any more flooding!

Good Morning REOVille. Another busy week over, another one day weekend. This has been one busy summer.
Wrapped a couple of vacation days around the upcoming Holiday Weekend so I can have a five-day mini vacation. Mamaw is already mentioning what all needs to be done, but isn't that what a wife is for.... ?
Have a Safe and Blessed Day, and a Great Weekend :)

Good morning Reo friends!! It's going to be another scorcher today. Seems like a great day to just stay in the air conditioning and do nothing!!.....yeah, right  At least I'm cherishing the moment right now.

Torey - sleep well! See ya later on :)
Papaw - enjoy your one day weekend. Just look forward to that great 5 day'er coming!

Good morning, REOvil!

Kay- She's doing pretty good. We had a nice day out yesterday- doctors appointment, lunch and bought her a new outfit. I bought her an outfit while she was in the hospital and she teared up and said she would never have picked it out for herself because it was too pretty. Trying to help her get her self image a little closer to the truth...tell her all the time that she is beautiful and ONLY 67! She spent a lot of years taking care of others and let her love for herself get forgotten.

Kay - get a kitten, you know you want one. They are such wonderful companions, and you don't have to walk or potty them :D

Pietro - glad to hear you are busy! You can fill us in when things calm down right?

Jen - those heart caths are truly miracles! After we remove the sheath, and make sure the site is stable, patients may only stay with us a day or so before they are good to go. Glad to hear your mom was diagnosed and fixed up in no time, and while she still needs the original work done at least she won't be having that heart attack which was waiting to happen :)

Ok all hands on deck, I am trying to find a mod that takes 18490-500 batts that can use a tank or bottom feed and is not VV or anything complicated for my sister who has some issues with complicated stuff. A side switch would be great. Have been to madvapes and almost everything is VV or bottom switch. I may need something older? Anyway any ideas please pass t hem along, thanks Dee.

Have you ever hear of a 18490 Reo ? Maybe a woody with a side button ?
a Reo with a Rba is way more simple than a tank IMO.

I was thinking the same ^ but wanted to wait to see if anyone else had another idea. 18490's woodies aren't as easy to come by as just going to a vendor and buying one, you have to wait for someone to sell one.

A metal mech would have the top button but the right batteries and can be purchased directly from Rob spanking brand new.
