Good morning, Reo friends! Had a good time yesterday. A little unusual for around here. A neighbor a couple of blocks away put out invitations for a hamburger and hot dog get together at their place. They are starting a "get to know your neighbors" thing, and it was actually great! Got to meet and really nice people who also happen to live in the area. Even out here in the country, we seem to hardly ever get to know folks in the community. Anyway, I hope you all have a really nice Sunday!

Morning REOville

Well the moon and stars must have aligned up for me this week because for the first time (in a long time) my luck has been pretty good. In the past I have entered a ton of those contests from vendors in the Supplier's Forum and never won anything.....actually I had never won anything from the ECF except some juice way back on the night Rob did the pod cast. I figured I was cursed by the random generator god so I had quit trying. Then this week I gave it another shot. Within a week span I won 3....

I'm thinling it's time to buy some lotto tickets and revisit those attempts to hookup with Kate Upton........WHAT....it could happen...

Good morning, everyone :)

Well, it appears that my dad had another stroke...but this time he was well armed with information and I got a call from someone about it about an hour ago. Ugh...I have a day's worth of work to put in today before I can do anything about it. The good news is he is alive, that bad news is that I have to wait to call back because he hasn't arrived at the hospital yet ....he lives in Gila Bend, AZ. I feel like useless dna. :(

Unless he lived with you, what would you be able to do anyway apart from worry?

When you live a long way from any family, it's a tacit assumption that you cannot be there in minutes, if at all. I will take issue with your useless DNA comment, because it's untrue and it's wrong to blame yourself for things you have no control over.

I hope he recovers fast and you concentrate your efforts on things you can change, rather then those you cannot.

Wise words, T...always. I know. I'm impatiently waiting for him to arrive at the hospital to find out what the next step is. Not even making travel plans until I know more about where he is headed. I have accepted the fact that he wants to be where he's at, and I can't change it. The only thing I can do is be there for him...so he at least knows he is loved. Something that up until recently he'd been missing.

Working a stroke into our schedule is not the easiest thing to do...right now I feel like I'm juggling chainsaws. (and yes, I'm saying that in a humorous way) I can't believe I'm seriously looking at a calendar to see when is a "good time" for this.:cry:

Good mornin' Reo wielders :)

Well wishes for your dad Lisa...

Starting to get a little bored takin' it easy...

Thanks, Mike

I'm glad to see you posting. I know your procedure is pretty common, but still spooky. Keep takin it easy! You'll be up and at it in no time. (I know, easier said than done.)
