It takes a hardcore individual to live up in the Dakotas! I would have been bundled up like an Eskimo about 30 degrees ago!
We like to say that winter keeps the riff-raff away. We so have splendidly nice summers up here though. They just don't last very long.
And that's a bad thing?
Only bad part about short summers is it is hard to grow super hot peppers outdoors.
How many days?
We have a couple days of winter here. Anything below 70° is winter to me!
We average 6 months a year with snow on the ground and usually a month of subzero highs.
If we get ANY snow, it makes the paper, schools are closed and many stay home from work! It actually did that about 2 years ago, maybe 3. Had snow that stayed on the sides of the roads and accumulated on our windshield wipers.
OK I'll break the silence. Good evening Reoville. Had a nice luncheon today at a friends house with 4 other friends. Chili, cornbread, broccoli and carrot slaw. Good times.

I hope the little one feels better soon. Always hard to see our babies feel bad. (no matter what age)
