I just got reomizer-ized and kicked!
The first pic shows the kick with an aluminum band up the inside that is screwed into the battery spring. I just used roof flashing aluminum because it is easy to cut with scissors but is still thick enough to handle any abuse. I also put in the eraser mod to hold the kick in place and help push it against the aluminum. I guess my Reo Grand is now a VW. Works great and only took about 10 minutes to do.
The second pic shows the Reomizer installed. This is my first RBA (Rebuildable Atomizer). I was surprised that it came with a coil already installed. I am a little unsure how to use it. I mean, you can't see the juice in it. So when you squank how do you know when it is enough? Is it supposed to have fluid pooling in the bottom of the atomizer or is that too much? I was always used to viewing the well and making sure it had just a little juice in it. Now I can't tell and it kinda freaks me out.
Also notice that I used a black marksalot to mark the plus and minus on these crazy flat-top batteries. It would be super easy to put one in upside down (would fry the Kick from what I'm told)! Egads!
These two mods make the Reo Grand just shoot vapor out. Now I understand why everyone is going to the VV/VW and RBA's. The Reomizer is really the icing on the cake and pulls it all together to give an excellent vape.
I usually stuff a bit of wicking material inside, opposite of the airhole. It soaks up the extra juice and lets me be a bit more frivolous with the squonking. I just give the bottle a good squeeze when it starts feeling dry. Then I'm good for about 5-10 minutes of vaping.
