This just in. My new ac9 does not thread all the way flush with the roller with the recessed connector. I was not able to try it with the other connector but just to give you an idea the ac9 was screwed onto 4 different devices and the only one I was able to get it flush with was my GGTS. Havnt played with it much but it is what it is so far

My AC9 arrived today and the finish of the atty. is a PERFECT match to my SS-M Roller. Absoluetly perfect match! Also ordered a hourglass drip tip from ALTSMOKE that is also a perfect combo. It looks stunning on the Roller! Loving it!

There is about 1/2 mm gap from the Roller to the base of the AC9. Seems to me that the 510 threaded base of the atty. is a shade too long. I have the center pins adjusted as much as possible, just seems that the atty. threads need to be sanded or milled down a tad.

Rolled a SS mesh wick, put a 5/4 28 ga (1.1ohm) coil on , filled with Grants Vanilla Custard and found vaping bliss. One note of the AC9 kit is that the pre-cut pieces of mesh are tiny. I used a pre-cut piece for my wick and it is a straw. Vapinaze used to include pre-rolled wicks in their kits; not now. Seems that they are skimping out on the mesh included, but, it works.

My AC9 did screw into my Roller recessed brass connector but it took some persuasion. My connector was somewhat faulty to begin with but it did finally accept the AC9. If it gets stuck onto the atty. threads when removing, make sure to wrap the brass with a wash cloth before applying a channel-lock or pliers to remove it. The brass connector lips are really thin and bendable.

I'm really happy with my Roller, great little mod! The AC9 is a perfect match to put on the top.

Mine arrived today, and like yours does not fit flush on my Roller or ProVari. Tiny gap on Roller. It seems the 510 threaded shaft is a hair long.

I was (still am) having isuues getting my AGA-T screwed into my brass connected Roller. The AC9 went in, but I applied noalox to the 510 atty threads and kept working it on and off until it got past the sticky section of the brass.

I have given up trying to get the AGA to screw into the Roller with the brass connectors. Will try again when I order recessed SS.

I got my Roller ss-m a week ago and it's awesome! The button was a bit sticky but after disassembling it, it's perfect :)

I've got a question - so I scuffed a little spot on it when it was in my pocket with some keys by accident :(
Whats the best way to get it out? I don't want to touch it and make it worse.. maybe a dremel polish wheel?

Edit: while i'm at it, here's a picture :>

I use a dremel on my GGTS from time to time to get tough scratches out but I wouldn't really recommend it. Once you get your scratches out there is a lot of work involved I getting back to the original shine to match the non scratched areas. I would say its best to just get a good micro fiber cloth and get a few different polishing compounds. Start with a more course one and work you way to a super fine one. If you have any jewelry supply stores close to you check there for the good stuff.

Thanks for the help!

Okay so my button has been catching and feels very clunky... I found that whenever I either tighten the 510 or the tube the button gets out of alignment and gets stuck so I have to manually pull it up? kind of disappointing since I've heard so many good things about the buttery perfect button...

Sounds like... Your 510 connector is too thick causing it to push down on your whole switch assembly too much, causing it to bind up?

I got a few questions for ya:

1) Is your inner tube tightened all the way? That would center the switch assembly, both 510 and inner tube need to be tightened down all the way.

2) Is the brass gasket under the switch assembly that the inner tube contacts seated properly?

3) Is your delrin washer that is holding the button causing the binding due to too small of a clearance? Try removing the button and the delrin washer and putting the button in the washer, how's the clearance? There's another delrin washer in the spare parts bag, try switching them out.

4) If you have a recessed 510 connector that's too thick, I have one that seems to be too shallow, maybe we could trade and see if that fixes both our problems. Try putting in the other connector and see if that fixes it?

I could be wrong with all of these, just ideas.

Thanks for the reply! Okay so after checking the tips you gave and messing around with it for a couple hours I found what was wrong with it, I removed the oring that hold the brass connector ring inside the tube and reassembled it - an it's perfect!! not sure why they designed it like that.. but it let the tube get on there all the way without affecting the switch. Now it's the way I was hoping it would be :)

Id take it to a machinist/jeweler because once you try and touch it up, it'll stand out more. On the flipside, I dunno if taking a polishing compound would be a great idea on a SS-M, matte finish will go bye bye and you'll be left with either tiger stripes or a bright brushed look.

Damn that's a bummer... guess I'll have to suck it up for the time being :/

Awesome! I actually felt a bit of regret after my post, as the guys over at Atmizoo would pinpoint it perfectly instead of me shooting randomly in the dark. However, i'm glad I was of assistance!

Don't you love that button? It's got the most perfect amount of resistance but most solid feedback and response.

I'm honestly having a hard time saying no at getting a second Roller SS-M next month... I love these mods, soooo simple to tinker with!
