What are the ups and downs of removing the spring?
And how much do you need to watch not screwing the tube too tight...
I just put in brand spanking new 18500 AW IMR's, but am not getting the feeling of a 4.18V vape.
I know, there's always loss, i read the article (thanks a bunch for that btw!), so i'm thinking of removing the spring.
I haven't measured yet, so i'll see what comes out and i can adjust my coils accordingly (vaping a 2.4Ω atm).

Anyone have an answer?

All Roller / Dingo types that can be stocked (SS-P/M/IM) include both connector types (Classic + Recessed) in brass.

When ordering a Custom Roller / Dingo, which is built-to-order, there is an option to choose the connector type & material (Classic / Recessed, SS/brass). If there is sufficient stock of brass connectors when the custom unit is assembled, we add a second connector of the opposite type in brass for free :)

Thanks Manos!
Does this also go for the flush RBA connector? (that was my original thought, but I spaced it lol).

I have a problem with my Dingo. If I tighten the tube on all the way, the switch gets stuck down and I have to pry it back up with my fingernail to get it to pop back up. This happens with no battery in as well. Now, if I take the brass ring that holds the switch assembly in place out of the mod, the switch depresses flawlessly and feels great. I thought at first I was supposed to b using batts without the top button, but then it was doing the same thing w/o a batt in there.. I have a Kick that I want to use and I am waiting for a T2 tube to get to me.

Well, I was about to send it back to you, as the line where the tube and the switch section met was off kilter and looked like crap. (I bought this mod because I like smooth design and clean lines.) I was just trying everything I could think of before mailing it back to see if I would possibly want to keep it. When I get the T2, I hope that the Kick sits in there just right and I can tighten the tube all the way on, because it looks like crap when the lines don't sit flush. hit me with any ideas you may have. thanks for the swift response.

That's a bum rap. You guys don't deserve that. :( Especially when you're hauling .... answering inquiries left and right. He should have excepted it's the weekend, and even God takes a day off now and then to catch his breath or to just catch up. I don't understand his/her thinking. He/she should have tried again, the first one may have been lost or whatever. It happens with every inbox.
I tried to reply, but it wouldn't let me. Probably a good thing lol.

Oh, btw! I've been recently using the Kick with the 18500 battery. I have it set on what I believe to be 8 or 10 watts. (all the way over then backed off a notch). When I took the Kick out, and vaped with just the battery installed, there wasn't any difference at all in the production of vapor and flavor. The Roller kicks like a Kick, but lasts longer without the Kick because the Kick uses up lots more battery.
I'll try it all the way over to 10 or 12 or whatever the last notch is, and see if there's any difference. Anyone else compare watt wise?

Well, I'll be a monkey's aunt. I just today noticed that the new button, that came with my update, has itty bitty grasp knurling underedge. I knew it was easier to lock/unlock, but I assumed it was my personal achievement all this time. (not that it was hard, ever, but it's so much easier now). Kudos Amitzoo!!

I bought 2 18500's for my Roller as well. To keep the kick option open, but decided to try lower resistance coil building first.
I'm currently dripping with a Phoenix DRA.

I have no way to compare the button, Uma, since i've recieved mine only 2 weeks ago, but i'm still developing my 2 fingered locking skills. :D

Just a question. Just got my Roller sent on the 31st of december and figured it would be the latest version, but i got an RO40 and now i see the last update was from december, RO50 and i didn't get an email about the update. Did i miss something?

(Still massively happy with my Roller though ;) )

Just wanted to throw in a good word for Manos and Atmizoo. I bought a used Roller off the classys. It was discounted in price because (i) it was fairly beat up (scratches, a dent, plier marks, etc.), and (ii) the switch was not working properly. It was an earlier version and it still had the original switch, which was also apparently missing some parts. I contacted Manos and ordered an updated switch assembly. Manos graciously offered to throw in (for free) several additional parts for me, inlcluding 2 connectors (standard and recessed), a new button, a new battery spring, and several additional extra replacement parts for the internal switch assembly (the small springs, ball bearings, etc.). Manos, I greatly appreciate it. On top of that, installing the new switch assembly was a breeze given the way it was set up (with the white band that just slides off as you push the assembly in) - brilliant. And now, my slightly beatup unit operates flawlessly. The button on this thing is amazing. Great product. It's so small, I love it. With an 18650 battery, it's about the same size as my P+18500. That is, of course, with the bottom battery spring removed (I realize that eliminates one of the built-in safety features, but I do use relatively safe batteries, so I'm not that concerned about it, and it really makes this thing hit hard).

Oh, and Manos also offered to do the button install and buff up the unit for free. I just figured I could handle the install, and I'm pretty rough on my devices anyway, so I'm sure I would have it scratched back up in no time anyway.

Anyway, just wanted to put up some (more) positive feedback for Manos and company, and for the Roller itself. Great product, great service. Thank you.
