kselle - I love my Aqua V2! vape on it and a Rose every day. Had it about a week and really love the rich vapor. Running it at 0.5 and it wicks just fine. The AFC is nice and open. Much more so than the Rose V2. About equal in flavor, but different even with the same juice. make sure you look at some pics or watch a video on how to wick it...a tiny bit tricky.

Hey guys.

I decided to give my Kayfuns a rest and finally took the time to setup the Rose. I did a single horizontal coil, 8 wraps of 26 gauge at ~1 ohm and wicked with two strands of Shiseido. It was a great PITA, but I am impressed with the results. I'm vaping at a higher wattage and am getting much more flavor and vapor (and nicotine) than I did before. The juice control made me nervous initially, thinking it would have to be just right or else I would get burning or flooding, but there seems to be quite a bit of leeway.

Anyway I'm pleased. Not looking forward to rewicking though.

Ignotus - just use one snug strand and split it into to two on either end after putting through the coil. Half into each slot. Works great. Trim flush with the side and lightly tap it in is how I do it. I also keep my coil legs slightly longer so that 3/4 of the coil sits up above the cup top edge so you can rewick easily. Leaves a little more room in the cup for airflow and wick.

She's here, and she's awesome!

The ceramic cups just drop right in, so she was coiled on the first shot :). New build and all. Twisted vertical. So nice to have one with perfect tolerances.

And she's standing proudly on my new sx mini mod :)

Curb your enthusiasm Roxy, you are making me think that I need to get one! :glare: ... seriously :glare:

I just got my tobeco clone today, and i gotta say what a pain in the *** to get the coil in these things haha.It took me almost an hour to finally get both legs into those tiny holes. After taking the first draw,i realized all the cussing and thoughts of throwing it out the window were worth the aggrivation though,as this is a really nice attie.I've gotten used to the airy draw of my orchids,so i was a bit concerned when i read that these have a fairly tight draw, but again i was surprised,it's actually a pretty good amount of airflow, definitely better than a kayfun.I had originally bought this with the thought that if i didn't like it,i could easily get double what i paid for it back,i grabbed this thing brand new for $12 with shipping included, but now after using it,it's definitely gonna stick with me haha. Now i have the aqua v2 on the way,so these 2 can sit side by side in my daily rotation.

I tried for 45 minutes to do it the way i seen in a few videos, putting the coil in the cup, then putting it all down into the base, and every time i would bend the legs.I finally decided to put the cup in first, line up the holes, and then put the coil in,and got it that way after 2 tries,so for me,that seems to be the easiest way, even now though i hope this coil lasts as long as the ones in my orchids because i wont be looking forward to doing that again haha.At least i can say i got the wicking right on the first try,so at least something worked in my favor on the first day with this haha.
