No i fill it from the bottom. Not a big deal but i just dont understand it cause the air hole is up from where the juice would be. Are you having the same thing happen with yours?

No don't have the same problem but it did happen to me one time. When filling with the syringe,as the syringe emptied i did not get the needle out of the R91% in time, and it got a shot of air inside the tank.As soon as i got the fill screw in and turned it up right,i got liquid out the air intake hole.It kept on leaking out the hole for about 5-10 minutes and finally stopped.

Just be careful when filling not to get air inside the tank. When vaping the same will happen. If you happen to breath into the mouthpiece,it will leak.

for sure are. i use 28ga, if i used smaller it would be hard to trap the wire. anyone know of replacement screws???

the real kayfun parts kit will provide the correct screws- the kayfun kit gets you replacement deck screws and o-rings that fit and the kayfun lite kit gets you filler replacemant screws and o-rings for back up. or you could buy 1.6mm x 3 0r 4mm machine screws(pan head) for the deck screws.

I think the replacement kit only includes the fill screws, or atleast mine did.

Got mine today, had a few issues with leaking and could not figure out why it was happening but I rebuilt it around 5 times and finally on the 5th it didn't leak. Was flooding and leaking right out of the air hole, all over the place. Would work fine when I dripped right onto the coil but as soon as I filled the tank over half way it would leak like crazy even though everything was put together correctly and tight. Think it may have something to do with the center pin. Regardless I filled up the tank this last time and it has been working like a dream all night.

I think I'm in love............

I recently got a 91% through the classifieds and it's missing this part:
i06s.jpg

It's the adjustable center post screw that threads into the 510 connection. Does anybody have any idea where I'd be able to get my hands of one of these?

If not, does anybody know the size of this screw? Maybe I could find something at a hardware store that could be modified to work.

kayfun=deck screws
kayfun lite=fills screws
get a replacement kit for each-there are two different kits. getting both gets you spare screws all around for the lite.

Just checked vaperev site and it says the post screw is not supplied by manufacturer. So i am not sure what size that screw is but you will have to try and find a suitable replacement.

EDIT:That screw looks like the POS. post pin in the Iatty sold at fasttech??

I would keep an eye out on Bucky's Bargain Vaping. I think he might be ordering some replacements parts possibly, but I could be wrong. I don't think the Kayfun 3.1 or Lite take that screw nor the full size Russian.

But I would say it is an M2X6mm pan head screw if you can find one in that size and length. I just measured mine and that is what I got. This place has some SS one's for $0.14 each. I am not sure what pitch the threads are though so I am not positive these will work.

Today I got my Russian 91% in the mail. I've been waiting a couple weeks for it. I cracked the seal, opened it all up, tried to assemble it, but lo and behold the damn center post is missing. I contacted the vendor to try and see if they could send one and they said they would try to see if they could find a spare center post for it but they didn't sound very optimistic. So here's my question, is there anything else that i can use as a center post. I know a 3m .50X20 fits but the original center post is hollow halfway up to allow airflow to get to it. I don't have the skills to hollow out a screw. so any quick but not necessarily unsafe fixes for it? also for anyone that wants to say just send it back, it was the last one in stock there and i don't want to wait another month to have another one because every other one i see is a pre-order buy and i despise pre-orders.

You can check here but the kit does not come with that screw. Kayfun Spare O-ring and Replacement Screw Set For V3.1 and Lite - SvoëMesto - Rebuildables

The post and adj screw was not in the bag of parts? You are not going to find or make anything to replace that. Send it back get a refund and order from someplace else. Unless they can guaranty they will make it right!

Keep an eye out on Buckys Bargain Vaping. He is trying to get spare parts for them when he places his next order as a few people were also missing the pos post and one was missing the positive block that the post screws into. He is also going to try and get some replacement isolators. He is going to be placing a small order for the full size Russian and I guess those aren't backlogged like the 91% so I would think he should have the spare parts in a week or two instead of months like it has taken for the 91%.

I would ask for a partial refund from the vendor or send it back and get a refund. They should do something for you considering you paid for a complete 91% and only got 91% of the parts lol.
