I'm sure this has been addressed here, but.....my Russian 91 will be here today. What's the best way to clean it before the first use? Thanks!
Anyone get their VT 91% shipped yet? I'm still waiting for mine. I figured since they had people wait over 3 months, shipping them out as fast as they can is the least they can do.
I wash all my new tanks with dawn and warm water and a good rinse after.
Be warned there is some assembly required. I didn't realize that I needed to remove the adjustment screw in the + post before I installed it and the connection block inside was loose till I took it apart and realized my mistake. Also added a second micro o ring to the adjustment screw to help it hold its adjustment better.
Works much better now!

Yeah, me too, first RBA. That's probably why I put it together wrong. The little zip lock under the foam has the parts in it!
I polished mine up with some scotch bright.

I washed mine with dawn and warm water, watched a youtube vid to put it together and then set it up with a cotton wick. I really love this thing. I have had it for a couple of weeks. Love it!
I must of missed that video!
I checked it out on YouTube and the one thing I didn't see is them adding an extra o ring. It seem to help in holding the screw where you set it.

Just got mine also. I waited over 12 weeks for it, I guess I can wait another week. :facepalm
VT finally shipped mine and tracking says it will be here on monday. Longest effin wait ever but for the price i got it for i guess i can't complain to much. I have watched review and build videos every day since i ordered the 91% and i should be and expert by now,

Bought my first high end atty in the form of a Russian 91% off of VaporKings(of which they still have some). Super excited to get it next week. =D
My tracking says mine got into Charlotte this afternoon... that means it will be here tomorrow! I'm glad I ordered it.. for the price I guess the wait has been worth it. I've had kayfun lites to play with so it's not like I suffered with nothing while I waited lol
Just got a kayfun lite plus in, my first rebuildable and I am Loving it. Then I found this in stock Kebo Russian 91% rebuildable atomizer system . So now I am going to get one of these too. Based on what Ive read I cant pass it up.
That's the one I have best atomizer in my book. If you have the kayfun they are exactly the same...
FYI- vaportek didn't have people wait over 3 months to deliver. the manufacturer did. for you to not understand that is the reason they are no longer doing pre-orders. they shipped them out as soon as they got them. i am sure they didn't enjoy the wait either especially since they had to listen to comments like yours. might i suggest you learn what a pre-order is and keep the snarly comments to yourself....
I boiled it first, then washed with dish soap, rinsed with hot water, and set it up. It tasted awful, so I did it all again, still awful!
Then I let it soak a few hours in isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) and rinsed thoroughly in hot water, and finally no more machine oil taste! Mine may have been an extreme case, but that sucker was COATED with machine oil when I first got it. I actually contemplated getting rid of it before the alcohol bath cause I couldn't figure out why it still tasted nasty and I was tired of wasting juice. Not anymore though! Hope this helps
