I am trying to purchase a russian 91%, but this is turning out to be a challenge! Most sites, as fast as they are in stock, they are out of stock in a very short time!

I have managed to get on a wait list from one site, no delivery until april for the v2. Tonight I found another site that has v3 in stock...the Kebo site does not mention the versions that are out. Anyone own a v3 and can tell me what the differences are? I have read the product description on the retailers web page for the specs on the v3, but I would like an owners impressions/experience.

What does the V3 have over the V2? I haven't had luck finding any descriptions and am curious. It is so true about vendors running out of these RBT's. I figured the demand would be settling down by now but seems the mfg manages to drag their feet long enough to keep peeps wanting them....lol.

Both EV and MBV have them in stock.

From the looks of the pictures, the mouth piece is attached via o-rings and can easily pulled out instead of being a screw-in type. Other than that it looks the same.

vapordna apparently has the v3 according to the listing.

I have contacted the website that I pre-ordered a russian 91% (not vapordna) and the owner responded that the model that is being shipped from HK will be the v2.

I find it odd that a company would manufacture 2 different versions. I get the rational behind the black version and some of the other specialty versions of the russian 91%. But I do not get why kebo would continue to manufacture a v2 and a v3, instead of depleting the stocks of already manufactured v2 then switch to exclusively to producing the v3.

Now that I think about it...that probably the case with my order...the website I pre-ordered with is getting old stock that needs to be shipped, then later in the year the v3 will be on the market.

I honestly don't think that there is much of a difference between the two versions, then again there could be...I will have to wait and see if any pop up on youtube for some reviews to truly see the differences...for better or for worse.

Regardless, I am still really excited to get one, no matter what the version is!

Any version purchased will be good. I can't think of the terms now, but these devices seem to be at that stage where improvements are little "jumps" vs huge ones. Sounds bone headed and hope someone knows what I'm really trying to say....lol.
I'm sure Kebo is trying to run down their stock, but why have vendors been out of the V2 for so long if there is indeed V2 stock sitting on the shelf? That is what I do not understand.
A little off topic, but just saw a Tobeco clone pre-sale for both gold and black Russian 91%. How do these mfg's get something to clone before it is on the market? Are they already available in the Pacific Rim?

edit.... just found the description for the V3 91% on VaporDNA.... improved steel, adjustable 510 conn, Std. 510 drip tip.... not a great change, but at least the same price.

I don't know what version it is, but I have the new R91 with the spring-loaded center pin. It also comes with a regular drip tip (no more drip tip adapter). I don't notice any other differences from the previous version that I have (that has a polished chimney). It's supposed to be 316SS, but I can't confirm that.

Anyone know of a version or similar device that will fit the 19mm? of a VTR? Hate having to use my PT2 on the VTR but love the mod?

Love the avatar - "BadaBOOM!"

I circumcised mine with a hacksaw and smoothed it with a grinding stone.
Yes, you can quote me on that.

There is no v3... The v1 to v2 big difference is just a spring loaded 510 pin. Which i hear is causing problems
