this is a positive step in the right direction. i know i was secretly hoping back when the reports of movie stars were using e-cigs that somehow the media would find a story in it and start exploring what it was about. nah. it's not seedy enough lol but back to my point. this is good publicity, and yes it might not be the best product but it's important to start educating about e-cigs and most important to start researching it! there is way too little research. yes we have tons of anecdotal evidence, with myself adding to it, but its not clinical. and i will tell you, the scientific world we live in requires facts! I for one am not afraid to see the facts. i know it will be better than smoking. but at the same time, we need to clear out some smoke (pun intended ;)) about the safety of e-cigs, and not for health reasons, but to PERSUADE those who think the world exists only in black and white. This is I am sure a healthier alternative to delivering nicotine to millions of smokers around the world. Think of the productivity of the world's smokers. Think of the dollars saved from fewer health issues. This is some pretty major stuff, and I want anyone out there who has the resources to get out and make it known.
If any is worried about the business ploy, true quality businesses last. If its publicity this business wants, they will get it, but not for long. It's the product and service that matters period. Reflect on your own purchases. And WHO better step up, and the FDA too....b/c this is about the most important goal:
making people healthier.

What scientific world do you live in? The only science I see generated is political science where research is used as a tool to arm an agenda in the world of smoking/tobacco/nicotine. You better keep in mind that those same people generating third hand smoke "research" will get their share of assignments to "prove" what they want to prove. Remember safe is a relative term and safe is safe only when someone want to proclaim safety. Chantix is safe and "effective" according to the FDA, but it's lead to hundreds of suicides. E Cigs are unsafe because, well, we just don't know.

If the E Cig industry generates the research it's tainted by biased money, unless of course BP sells the product.
