OK so today im cleaning out an old desk drawer and find a pipe screen, A light bulb goes off and says instead of using the spring mod, what if I cut a piece of this screen and trim it so it fits on the end of my reservoir of my Atty tip and use a small piece of wicking material on top. I try it out and whoa it seems to work pretty well. I cut a simple piece of pipe screen and placed it just down a little bit where you would a spring, filled a bunch of drops of fluid and put the polly on top of it. It seems to let just enough e-liquid go through the screen to keep the poly nice and wet and I'm getting clouds of Vapor and a really nice Vape out of this mod. I'm calling it the screen mod. No pics yet but will try to get some up for anyone that doesnt understand what I mean but I think most will....!!!!!!

But this is a full screen no poly fill method. Interesting idea, you could inverse cup it and put poly fill ontop reducing the material needed.
