Excited to get my Mini Nova in the mail today - any tips for first vape on it? does it take a while to break in like the C4 clearo's?

I have been using the Vivi Nova for a couple months but I wanted to have something more eGo sized for the Twist. My Minis arrived to day (18 days shipping U.S. to Canada. Lol) There was some visable oil on some of the parts so I cleaned everything in really hot water, dried it all, did a dry burn, put it together and filled it. I let it set for 10 minutes or so (to soak the wicks) and it vapes Great! Mine did not take any time to break in but some of the Vivi Nova heads did, so it may depend on the head.

I have the straight thread cover for it and the cover seems to be a bit short or the Mini doesn't screw down as far as I thought. Regardless, it works wonderful and looks Good, too.

I am Relaxing and Enjoying! I suggest you do the same!

Actually just checked and it's the V2.5 Vivi Nova (not the mini i don't think) - also arriving is an eGo Twist and a . Here's a quick question: been doing some reading on using LR atty's with a VV device...and it's getting a bit confusing - I understand all the math and the concepts, I just want to not blow anything up! Can I use the viv nova with LR heads with my eGo twist at, say, 4 volts? or will that be too much power for the LR heads. (as you can tell I'm a bit of a noob...but a fast learner):?:

I don't have a vv device, but I use 1.8 ohms on my 3.7 device. Start there and you'll probably have some room to increase your vape from 3.7.

Some vendors call the Mini - V2.5 (I think).

Wash and dry the tube, base and top cap before use. (Not the head).

Just start on the lowest setting and go up from there, to your sweet spot. You can't blow anything.

Not necessarily the best tank out there but definately the best looking for Provari owners.

Pro-V Cartomator SS by Vaperfexion....................

I would have ordered one but the $20 for shipping just got the better of me.

I ended up with the Siam Mods - Pyrex XL Size Blue Tube and SS end caps - better value but a pain in the ... to refill.

I think the Vivi LR is about 1.8 Ω - so you should probably keep it at 4V or lower. Personally I try to stay at 3.8, above 4 and I get a burnt taste. The heads won't blow up but it's a bit hard on the coil, it could burn out and you could burn the wick enough that you'll never get the burnt taste out at a *really* high voltage, over time. If I forget to switch voltages down from say 4.4, I get a nasty draw or two .. put it at 3.8V and all is good again. :)

Edit: Whoops, this was already answered. That's what I get for skimming. :)

vivi minis are a win for me as well. I say that after using ONE vivi and two replacement heads for six weeks non stop. Here's some of my observations,
-My battery post has never been so dry.

-The draw feels just right for me, not too airy not too tight and the draw never changes. And you can take hard pulls off it no problem

-Big mouthfulls of vapor, more than I get from cartos. With cartos I was always craving that cigarette throat hit and never quite get satisfied. I find the thick mouthfulls of vapor I get from these to be a satisfying substitute and I don't crave that feeling anymore.

-nice warm vape.

-Nice and quiet, I can take or leave the snap crakle pop of a well working cato.

-easy to clean, easy to take apart, easy to dry burn, nothing really to screw up.

-they are juice pigs, the price you pay to have that much vapor in your mouth at one time.

-great flavor for me, but I don't think I fit into the category of a "super taster".

- the threads on the plastic tube won't last forever, mine will need a replacement soon.

-the two heads that came with it are still going. The one that I used most often has lost a number of the wick threads from all the cleaning, I predict I will have to rebuild this one because of the wick bundle thinning out before the coils stops working.

-I find them sensitive to juice viscosity. Too thick a juice and you'll say " these vivi's are crap". A little clear headed reasoning and some thinning out the juice and you'll say "wow, mind your juices captain what a difference"
A bit of flooding after topping off the tank almost every time, I fill only to under the wick. Occasional flooding at random times, but not to an annoying or fatal degree ever.

-9 dollars 99 cents for six weeks heavy and constant vaping and still going. I went through seven cartos in that same time. Not because I used the cartos more but because FIVE of them didn't work out of the package. The two cartos I got working were not in heavy rotation for this period, an occational toot here and there.

I'll end my vivi love letter there.

Did i mention the potential to rebuid the coil for pennies?

I am missing my snap, crackle and pop too! The only downside of the Mini Vivi IMO lol...

Agreed, i think the flavor is not 100% but it is very close, besides that the lack of SKP is the only downside :p i wish i would have said that in my review.....i am going to add a note lol

I'm still on the fence with my vivi. It was great, the first head lasted 2 weeks (still good actually) but; The centre post was slightly (very slightly, less than a mm) too long and was slowly pushing the pin on my LT down and losing contact, even though it was loosely screwed in and quite wobbly. I was needing to tighten it more and more daily, so rather than screw up my tube, I put it aside and went back to my boge tank for a week while I pondered the situation. After a bit of reading and more pondering, I just finished sanding the post down so it's flush and it seems to be firing properly and is seated firmly. Tomorrow I'll put it through a full day of vapes and see what side of the fence I fall on.

I got my Kanger T2's in the same shipment as the vivi...and am actually preferring them for some reason. I'm about 2 weeks into my vaping career so I'm still in the mode of trying out all the different options and getting a feel for each of them. Some days I find the amount of variables in this game kind of annoying - smoking analogs is all about consitency - but then other days I'm loving the wide variety of flavors and delivery options. I've gone through the gammut already - dripping, vv, these tanks, and have now discovered Boge 2.0 carts...and am kinda loving those right now. good to have a few things you like and a few options for circumstance - work, driving, chillin'. Also, off topic, but I freakin' love ECF. nice to feel part of a community when going through such a change like this (i was a 24+ year smoker)...
