Is the ' blank empty shipping mouthpiece that has no filler in it' which came on my new attys yesterday (my first new kit), the same as empty carts you would purchase and thereby suitable for using for filler mods? I have already done this and now I am wondering, lol. Never before have I felt so dumb, lol!

It depends on the model of e-cig you have. For example, the Joye 510 mouthpiece and cartridge are all one piece, but the penstyle mouthpiece contains a separate (white) cartridge.
