Not sure if I'm doing it right, but I drip 3 drops of juice onto my wick and then put on an empty cart (no filler with the mouthpiece popped off) and vape.

I have way too many flavors to test out and plan on buying more atomizers so I don't have to constantly clean the 2 atomizers that came with my kit between flavors.

Explain to me like I am 5 years old what I should buy for my regular Ego battery, please.
Someone said I should get a 306 attys with drip tips... does this sound right?

Please rec stores, if possible, that sell what I need to buy.
*** Bonus points awarded to recs where said stores also carry yummy dessert-type jucies!***

The short answer to the question in the title of your post is: Nothing.

That is, with most atomizers, a drip tip is a convenience, not a necessity when dripping. It eliminates the need to remove and replace the mouthpiece.

You do not need a 306 atomizer to drip. You can drip with any atomizer. It's the other way around. A drip tip is almost a necessity with the Joye 306 atty, since it is exposed. [NOTE: Dripping when using an unsealed battery is not recommended, but that's not an issue with the eGO.]

You can get drip tips almost anywhere these days. And there are all types: metal, plastic, Delrin ... short, long, cannon ... straight, contoured, twisted ... clear, colored ... etc.

VapeRite is an example of a supplier of many different types of drip tips as well as desert e-liquid. Also eLiquidPlanet: drip tips; e-liquid. DIY Flavor Shack sells both three types of drip tips and many desert flavor e-liquids.

However, many of the suppliers specializing in "yummy dessert-type jucies" do not also carry hardware. They include (but are not limited to) Ms T's Bakery and Kick Bass Vapor.

First, it is said like you can never be too slim, that you can never have enough atomizers. Both are false but it does drive home a point - atomizers are the hardest part of an ecig to 'recreate' or replace - mods have non-proprietary batteries and the filler in cartridges are easily replaced. That said, I'd buy a 5 pack of 510 atomizers. And almost any vendor has them but Cloudsofvapor.com has 5 packs of regular joye 510 attys available at a good price.

You could get a 306 atty - most people would recommend the low resistance one - they are good for dripping but being LR, they might not give you a true taste of what a flavor might taste like on a regular 510 (or eGo atty) that isn't LR. So I'd stick with the 510 regular attys for taste testing.

Most flavors can be vaped away pretty well and following with some plain VG or PG is a good practice to 'clean out an atty' - soaking in 151 clear, uncolored, unflavored Vodka would be the utimate cleaning, imo. I use Galen's - cheap and charcoal filtered as well.

Some flavors - menthol, cherry, any of the 'atomic' flavors with hot cinnamon, etc. will need the vodka bath but most flavors will just need to be vaped until no/little flavor and then follow with unflavored PG or VG, then try the next flavor.
