Raechel, This group that is directing the regulation, etc, is exactly what is needed. Any other method will not be of much use in the fact that HC will shrug their shoulders to listen to anyone. Professionals will indeed be a major factor in the process. Without them it will be a losing battle. HC, in conjuction with the other offices in the Canadian government will argue points that lead to Revenue Canada and major
tobacco and cessation companies. Money towards tabacco and cessation companies are huge contributers to government and have more power towards what happens. What the real battle is, is the cash that these companies will lose and taxes that government haven't figured out how to install to e cigs and
juice. These agencies want a piece of the pie, whether it be by dominating the industry or taking over it. Shareholders of these companies are(yes) filthy rich and have only one interest to any of this. The dollar. All I can see is these cash grabbers needing their fingers in the pie and half the fight is over IMHO. Then HC will be interested in regulating and bring things to the table. Money talks when it comes to a vested interest to the rich. My opinion may not be a large factor, but I feel they are of interest when decisions are made, there is always someone in the background that sways the way business is done.
Keep up the battle and good luck to all of you. We need this for all the vapers and the suppliers.
