I have this brand and another. I will try the new batteries soon as my SS arrives .. [SS makes me think Super Sport - a very cool car in the long ago.] I pray I can find a different charger for the little protected CR2s .. [they are protected, correct?] What is the length of other CR2s .. these are 25mm long. I can't find my other CR2s .. but from my very poor memory, these seem shorter ... I am probably wrong.

I like "SS" too, Hokie. I wish I would have thought of that moniker first --

oh wait... I think I did. LOL

This is a very confusing page to me.

The descriptions lists 3 different mAh values: 280, 550, and 650.
The description lists 2 different battery compositions: lifepo4 and Li-ion
The descriptions lists 2 different battery sizes: RCR2 and RCR123A
The charger itself says it's for one battery composition: LiFePO4
The price is insane for a charger and 2 batts: over $30

They look like they'd work in place of the green cr2's? I wonder if there is another place to get that brand cheaper? It looks to be of nice quality.

David

DEF looks beetter quality than the ones at South Summit, yet that s the ONLY plave Ive seen them as of yet...Im still on the prowl tho....;)

BTW, I was able to grab some TTips off ya the other day. Are those shipping rt away or is there a wait time? Sorry for asking here, just figured I would while I had ur attention :)

From all my reading, I don't think that "CR2" and "Nice Quality" belong in the same sentence - at least not for rechargables. The lack of PCB protection for CR2s scares me, too.

These are LifePo4s were talking about, check em out! ;)

Notice the charger has 4 slots, it charges all above listed batteries, yet comes with 2 rcr2 280mAh batts. I thhink the chargers capabilities is why the price is so high here...

All t-tip orders to date have been shipped:) (with the exception of a few that were ordered with other items that needed to be manufactured)

Nice acronym Hokie and RichieG. Now I see why I've been hawkin this design so hard. I wonder if engraving is too much of a hassle. Hmmmmmmm......

I say 'no' to engraving. Unless you have an AWESOME tattoo [and even then I wouldn't do it.] I had the 'tattoo' removed from my GGT because [my personal/professional opinion] the font was all wrong .. that font should be used for the FIRST letter in a word with upper and lower case letters .. I don't know what the wings were supposed to be .. Now I have a, No-Name generic PV ..

Regardless .. I wouldn't tattoo any of mine .. I don't engrave jewelry that should have an initial or monogram .. even if I had a great idea I wouldn't do it because it lowers the resale value.. I am constantly having to remove monograms from vintage jewelry to sell it ..

PS .. My SS didn't come today .. Boo-Hoo ... 'tomorrow is another day.."

This. The biggest advantage to the Super6 is it LOOKS like a NASA grade device. Something used to calibrate solar mirrors, or replace space shuttle heat panels. When I'm in a pub and I say "this is a medical inhaler" nobody questions that. If I had the mudflap boobie girl engraved on it, my deception would be an order of magnitude harder to pull off.

ha-ha ... why would someone put one of those mudflaps on anything? and in a place where the person cannot look at them unless they are walking towards their truck .. and then, the ladies are splashed with mud ... oh .. maybe that is what they like?

Just thinking out loud ...

I don't know why ANY self-respecting female would ride in a truck with those flaps or decals:rolleyes:

It was just a fleeting thought. Just the acronym will do.......
I do agree, this piece is way too nice looking to mess with the handcrafted love that was put into it.

If you think the mud flaps are disgusting, how about the "ball sack" they make for your truck?? They hang just like a scrotum from the back axle right in the middle. The first time I saw those I was speechless! Who in the world would put that on a truck....And they are made specifically to look like your truck has "balls" danglin'. Whats next? Maybe a hood ornament that looks like a penis?? God help us all LOL

Zof,

Now that is a great response. Thanks for the giggle! :D Hmmm, medical inhaler-I like that. I just use a "vaporizer" but like your description better.

ha-a .. I was going to mention those things but I couldn't find the words to describe them .. I suggest we carry big shears in our cars and when we find a set of them dangling from some car ... ooops ... pick up truck in a parking lot, we castrate them .. and walk away ...

Be careful, Hokie. Those pickups are often equipped with rifle racks.
