David i am confused. you said out of the box it will work on a 510 but we need an adapter for the 306 atty. If the threads on both attys are same then why do we need an adapter? this is where i am lost. so i only use 306 HV attys but i have a few 510 attys i use also.
but i can use my 510 til the adapters are made. but can you please explain the why we need adapter for 306 to me. Thanks. i cant wait for these bad boys. I ordered 2. 1 for my buzz and 1 for my (i hope) Shockwave lolol. talking about planning ahead huh. Thanks David you sure did an outstanding job. You my friend are more than a machinist. i am totally amazed what you can do.

While the 510 and 306 share the same bottom screw in threads, the tops are different. This juice feeder inserts into the top of the atomizer, just like a drip tip would. A 306 atomizer can't take a standard drip tip like the 510's or 901's take. The 306 atomizer has it's own unique slide over, friction fit tip and hence why we need a sleeve that i am making that will slide over the unique 306 and have a standard top like a 510 that will allow the juice feeder to just plug in. I hope that explains things a bit

I have black, blue and red anodized VapeMates in the works too and those will be in in about a week and a half. I also have ten bead blasted units that are almost a grey/titanium look after anodizing. If anyone would like to switch their order, please PM me with your name AND order number and what color you want to change to. Please note, if you switch your order to the red, blue or black, your unit won't ship this coming week, it will be delayed. I think it looks awesome, would love one. But, no way it is worth 65 bucks, man that is just crazy in this economy. I understand the need to be compensated for R&D etc, but comon, 65 bucks for a 2 oz piece of aluminum? Be honest, after all said and done, how much this cost to produce per unit? 15 bucks tops? I would buy 3 of them at 25-30 bucks each, but I wont be purchasing any for 65 bucks. GL

OMG, i would die to have these only cost 15 bucks each to be made! Normally, i won't discuss price, but when you said you would pay 25-30 each for them, i would be losing money at that price as EACH costs more than that to machine at MY COST! (and thats even having them done in multiples in the hundreds!) Not to mention the cost of having this design taken from my blueprints and put into cad/cam programs and prototyped as well as the approximately 4500.00 for the patent application!

FYI, i know it's been mentioned before, but i want to mention again, this item is completely machined from a solid, single block of aluminum, it is NOT A CASTING. (machining it out of a single piece is inherently more expensive then would be a multiple piece item composed of lathe turnings), Every internal hole, internal passage, surface, thread, coutour, groove and side had to be machined with multiple operations, mutliple axis CNC machine (these aren't just simple lathe turnings), multiple jigs, nearly a dozen tool changes and multiple repositioning in multiple custom made holding Jigs.

Not to mention, then the Polycarbonate sight glasses have to be machined and then, we are not done yet, they have to be polished by hand (as polycarbonate is cloudy after machining). Still not done, each and every unit then gets shipped to the Anodizer to be anodized. It is by far the most in depth and complex (from a machining and machining cost standpoint) feeder on the market, yet is still 20.00 cheaper then the competitions feeder and is anodized for safety to boot!

It may be too much for you, but understand, no one is doing any price gouging on this end. It's the cost of a quality, all machined part.

LOL dude...are you nuts? This is machined from ONE piece of aluminum. You don't look at the raw material cost of an item and say...hmmm aluminum is 39 cents a pound at the local recycler wtf is he charging 59 bucks for? When I saw the price on this I was actually surprised at how AFFORDABLE he made it. This guy put in countless hours not only designing this but in working with his machinists, testing, etc., etc...

You can make a cheap box mod for 5-7 dollars in parts...this isn't a cheap box mod/battery holder.

Dude you need to get a clue. You've been looking at to many inferior Chinese and home made PV's David makes the most finely machined PV's and parts on the market bay far, obviously you do not own a Super-T product or you would have never made that statement.

If your to cheap to by quality American made PV's and all you want to do is bash someone, then move on your in the wrong place.

Get real, this isnt a PV, its a fricken bottle attachment. I didnt bash anyone, I would love to own one, but no, right now I cant afford 65 bucks for the convenience of not picking up the bottle 10 times a day. No I dont own any ST products, I own a Prodigy V1 that is 10 months old, and a Chuck on the way, among others, but I did recommend my sister and brother to ST, seeing as they are in my state. I own a streetbike, and accessories for it are sometimes insanely priced, but for 65 bucks you can get a set of Arlen Ness teardrop Mirrors, which are chromed. I would imagine it cost a bit more to make the mirrors than the ST device. Take it easy, it's my opinion..

You are correct, it isn't a PV, but would it surprise you to learn that many aluminum mods have much less machining steps and manufacturing costs then this Juicer?

I think what you're saying is it's not inexpensive and i agree, sixty bucks is nothing to sneeze at, however, I think where people took offense (at least i did) was when you made an uninformed accusation of the cost that would lead others to believe i was price gouging when your guess-timation was no where near the cost of manufacture. So yes, it isn't cheap to purchase, but it is a good value for the cost involved in producing it and is a very finely crafted device.

Cheap isn't quality and quality isn't cheap!

Agree 100% with this one! I think SuperT designs are very under priced IMHO! When I first opened the package with my Precise I said to myself, "What a bargain" I know this new juice feeder doesn't look like much from the layman's view but if you have experience with metal working you know this was no easy task. Those passages had to be drilled perfectly in order to match up with one another. And damn I was not aware that the sight glass was actually a custom piece also. That adds to the cost even more so. To bring this item to us for 60 bucks is a bargain.... especially if it actually works (which I am pretty confident that most will have it working quite easily, unlike other juice feeder designs).

Can't wait to on this new toy! And now I find out that there are colors in the works also. Darn it Dave! I can see a black one looking pretty nice on my eGo!!!

Ice-The first preorders were recently taken and as David said in above quote, next week is when the first ones should ship. You should start to see some comments in about 2 weeks on the feeder!

I have found some 10ml bottles with the childproof threading at MadVapes, but I was wondering if there were other places to buy smaller bottles with the appropriate threads? I checked Johnson Creek, U.S. Plastics etc, but couldn't discern what type of threading they had.

Edit: Duh, like Dave has been saying Heaven Gifts has a DIY section with the right ones.

The U.S. plastics sight is a little hard to navigate for most users, and it is still hard to tell if the bottles have the right threading. It looks like the Nalgene/LDPE are the best ones to get, but they are only sold by the case at U.S. plastics. So far I've found two U.S. based companies with the right bottles that are sold in eaches. MadVapes is one, and also these guys. It looks like they are selling the harder plastic version, which are clear. They come in 5, 10, and 30 ml sizes.
