I put tubing in my bottle the first day, but after experimenting without the tubing I have not been using it. I prefer without. A simple little tilt to fill the sight glass then tilt back while still holding the bottle then use the bottle to drip an exact amount each time. When I use the tube I tend to flood the atty. So try it both ways guys, you never know you may prefer using it without.
I got my vape mate last night, yay! however, w/ an injured and often unusable right hand, i am having tbl using only my left. I am right handed, typing this w/ my left. i may be left handed for a while, argh!!!
So far i am okay on squeeze amts - no flooding yet, though i am still very new to it obviously.i have the bottle opposite the button. But betw the bottle - i think it's 5 ml , the balance and the button on my 510 passthru, my left hand is too clumsy overall to make this easy.
Do I dare try it on an auto 510 batt? or is that just asking for unecess tbl? any other ideas?

I would not use the Vapemate with an auto battery. It only takes one time flooding to ruin a battery, I have found. The other part is that you don't need to do anything with the button on the battery when squeezing the bottle to get the juice flowing.
I agree with jc-Don't put it on an auto battery. One flood and the battery could be toast.
Try lining the bottle up on the same side as the button-I am right handed and use the VM left handed most of the time. With button and vapemate facing opposite your palm, you can squeeze without pushing the button and then the button is in the right position to be pushed.

The 801 adapters are due to be done Wednesday. The 306 adapters i do not have a firm estimate on yet, but will update when i do!

Seems I just have to deal with the learning curve and fortunately it's getting better already. the bonus is that in my one-handed rushed to try it, I mixed together two different strengths of ry4withdifferent strengths of cinnamon and vanilla, all to get the right strength I want. It tastes a lot better than I thought it would!
This is probably a really dumb question but we will need to order the 801 adapter and the vapemate as two units that will fit together right? the vapemate wont be an 801 vapemate.....

The 801 adapter is just a stainless steel adapter that you put into your 801 atomizer and then put the vapemate into. It's basically just a reducer. You can also use the adapter to run 510/901 drip tips in your 801 atomizers

We ordered a VapeMate at Cloud9Vaping for my wife - should arrive next week. We're eager to find out how many flooded Attys it will take to getting used to the device...

If you have a tendency to flood the atties with it, I recommend that you use it as David originally designed it - without the tubing, and follow Tina's fabulous instructions on her video (I've got it linked to on the site).

The learning curve isn't bad at all.I love my bottom feeders,but the taste can't be compared to dripping.That's not lost with the Vape Mate,I love it and will probably get 1 or 2 more .

Three VMs, Grammie? Wow.
I have one VM and keep 10-15 pre-filled 5ml bottles at the ready. When one bottle starts getting low, or I want a flavor switch, zing its off, and I'm on to the next flavor sensation. Also, YRMV, but I've discovered that if I keep the bottles closer to full I get a near auto-like feed (that is, the time between squeezes lenghens considerably) so if one bottle starts pushing toward the half-way mark, rather than bother with inverting the unit and squeezing, I switch out bottles. Fast and super easy. I think Vapn and I are in the minority and may be the only ones to use the VM without the tube mod. Anyone else??
Still waiting on my 801 adapter for my VapeMate. David, did you forget??? One more week, and I start sending you nasty emails. Heh. I'm not as patient and sweet as Bella Chic and Grammie, ya know.

I'm with you and Vapn, LadyMaMa. I used the VM with the tube in my bottles for a few days only. Loved it initially but found myself flooding the atty easily. No flooding problems when using the VM the way David originally designed it to be used...
