Dave,

I'm just posting the following information so people can compare it to whatever tubing spec's you post!

The tubing specifications (mentioned in the above posts) for part number "-424" available from Omeg.com is 4 mm OD x 2.4 mm ID. The "-15" is for (length) 15 meters of tubing.

Thanks

PK

I should be the one thanking you, so thank you and welcome Melissa! Now'll you'll have a new toy to play with :)

As Lisa mentioned too, she also carries the Super T line so that's another outlet to get your Super T Products at.

Thanks for letting me know, didnt want you thinking i missed the post... Im getting more excited as the day goes by, i've tried a few different setups, and even own a bottom feeder, but i have gone back to dripping and cant shake it off, so it has stayed and i am happy. It all came down to two choices, the other choice was predomeniently plastic, and while i just got something plastic two weeks ago with not so great success it has toasted me a little wanting anything more plastic. So as i was saying i am really looking forward to the vape mate. I'll come back later on , after i've tested it out for a few good weeks and let ya all know what i think :thumb::banana: Happy dances to be getting a new TOY ...LOL

Can't believe it but there was a big(ger than the usual vape supplies) box on my porch today, with a coil of tubing in it. This isn't too different from the universal (for fish tanks) tubing except its thicker. I tried it immediately but went back to tipping because I can't get it to feed through the VapeMate. This means I'm doing something wrong and may have to actually go watch HzG8tr's video again.

Back in business! Less pressure is needed with this tubing, for one thing, and the length of the tube was a mystery. I cut it so it just touches the lowest edge of the tip and, of course cut the bottle end at a 45 degree angle. The barest squeeze now sends juice visibly up the tube in the bottle and through the site glass. I'd been waiting to see a bubble for confirmation but, with this tubing, such is not required for the flow to have dropped into the atty. It's like I got a whole new device!

I'm using a generic 5ml bottle with about 1/4" (about 1ml) of juice and feeding the atty each time I need to, even at this low level, and even without looking (I'm finally cool!). I'm going to fill up the bottle and go let TV watch me vape. Been another packed week.

I wish all a restful weekend of blissful vaping. :vapor:

Does anyone have a pic of the vapemate on a Darwin? Curious how the setup would look. Would really appreciate it!

Wish I could Krisb but my cell's camera is kaput and I'm not replacing it until RIM finally releases a newer version of my phone (don't get me started!). Hope there's another VapeMate fan and Darwin lover who can oblige. In the Darwin thread I think someone has a picture from the first batch with a VM on one.

The arm will go all the way down with the VM attached, btw, and can even be laid. I usually feed attys between vapes anyway (rather than right before I vape) so it works for me. I hold the Darwin in such a way the drip tip is facing up, feed the atty and set it aside. When I'm ready to vape all I do is extend the arm. It's a good marriage.

I got the tube in from dave, what a great fix! I really think all these should ship with a tube for the bottle, this thing almost autofeeds 80% of the time now !

Thanks, Hz. I coulda sworn there was one but haven't seen it. I have a MAP for when my Darwin comes, but really thinking about giving the VM a try to see the difference.

One thing about vaping vs smoking. If you ever found yourself out of cigs, you were never far from a store or a buddy to bum one, with vaping there are just so many things to try and no one close by, I think, to 'bum' a try off of.
