hey so i see that people who have ordered a vapemate will be getting juice bottles with their orders what about those of us who already got ours and didnt get any bottles i still have yet to find a bottles that works well with it and am really in need of a good bottle for it

Those who have previously ordered will be getting bottles too, here is my post from earlier, they get buried fast:

Thanks to everyone who has helped to find the right bottles for the VapeMate! Today i received my Totally Wicked 5ml bottles and they are exactly the same top design as the soft 10ml bottle around which i spec'd the Vapemate's bottle receptacle. These fit with no modifying the tip, no need to remove the tip and no need to add an O-ring. The screw all the way in flush with the bottom of the VapeMate. They are the cats Meow. They actually are not child safety cap bottles, but have the same threads as the safety cap bottles i designed the VapeMate around.

The good news, everyone who has purchased a VapeMate to date will receive two bottles and all future orders will also come with two bottles. Please be patient with me though, as i won't be able to get these mailed out to you until after Thanksgiving, but i will get them out!

been vaping happily with the vapemate and love it so far. all is not perfect yet, i guess i'm still learning how to get the best out of this wonderful thing! noticed off and on that i'm getting weaker hits and have to keep checking to see if i've flooded my atty by unscrewing the atomizer from the battery and drying it. then blowing on the tip to clear the "holes" in the vapemate from any juice blockage. then pulling the mouthpiece off and drying the collected juice from the top well of the vapemate. tonight i noticed that after doing all that it still gave me a weak hit. hesistated to squeeze more juice into it so i decided to remove the vapemate and used the p18 without the vapemate attached and guess what. the throat hit and vapor increased alot. this is without adding any liquid to the atomizer. what am i missing? it seemed to perform better than this before but i'm kinda stuck
after using all my usual tricks to clean it out.

update: ok, after adding the rubber ring onto the thread end of the bottle i'm getting much better hits again.
seems to do the trick. using the soft bottle from (dekang) juice ordered from china.

I just ordered a STDT-Shorty and a Silver VM.

Although I have a bottom fed mod and while it works great, it IS a rather heavy device. I like to put my PV's in my shirt pocket while out/about and the Grande pulls my pocket down to my belly button! I definitely can't be seen in public looking like that!

So the VM looks like the perfect dripping-while-driving add-on for my other mods & PV's.
Glad I found this thread.
Looking forward to it!

edit: Oh, I forgot to ask you Dave, how's the 306 adapter coming along? Thx!

Metapuff, are you using a tube in your bottle? If you are getting juice up in the drip tip receptacle, then the atomizer is getting flooded. As far as the throat hit and vapor being less, again, it's probably due to too much liquid. Since the Vapemate doesn't alter the electrical connection, thats what i'd suspect. Theoritically, one could loose a bit of heat as the air has to flow an extra half inch, but the loss would be so minute, it should be insignificant. The Vapemate will "auto" feed if the bottle is full or you run a tube, so you may be getting too much of a good thing (liquid). Also, it may just be a case of getting used to how much to squeeze the bottle.

sorry Forcedfuel, I'd love to help since i want to use those attys with just about every mod, including the VM.
But unfortunately I only have 2 and I also live in Hawaii...
I'm sure some astute folks have more to spare.
They are uniquely super, cool and more vapor than i've seen anywhere.
Out of stock folks.
I find the tend to lose draw after a short while; ymmv.

Does anyone have a Ikenvape 2.0 Ohm Minin 801 atomizer, dead or alive i can purchase, dead or alive? I need to test fit my 801 VapeMate adapter on it and he is out of them.

Best,

David

Bumping this post - I spent the weekend trying to get a consistent feed without watching what I was doing/inverting/squeezing just enough/fliping back over etc and was getting pretty frustrated - then remembered some of this discussion from last week and the week before and traced these .... now it works great - without somersaults ... couldn't be easier- this should be stickied along with vapn's idea without the drip cap.... I had aquarium tubing in the house so didn't even need to run to the pet store....thanks guys...

Ok..took some pics of my two bottles set up. Both are very simple to set up. The first 2 pics show the standard 10ml childproof cap with 1/4" tubing. Just pick up some 1/4" tubing from any hardware store, insert it into the cap end and cut to fit in the bottle. That's it.

The next 2 pics show the tube setup for the 6ml non-childproof type bottles. For these you'll need to cut the tip off the end just less than halfway and use 3/16" tubing. I'm using RC fuel line for mine available at most hobby shops or someone else mentioned trying aquarium supplies. The fit on the tubing is a bit snugger, but it does fit in there.

These are very simple to set up and if you buy a foot or two of tubing you can easily mod a dozen bottles. Hope this helps!
