I just received my black one today and I'm a little concerned about the ability to see the juice when squeezing the bottle. Because the anodized process anodized the inside of the VM it is difficult to see the juice in the sight window. I have a silver VM and can see it fine but not with the black one. Anyone else having this same issue with their black VM?

The black one looks cool, but you are right, it's harder to see the juice with a black background. You could pop off the sight glass if you have an air compressor by pressurizing the unit and dremel out the black channel, but it would be a lot of work (and remove the protective anodizing). Personally, and i think you'll discover this too, after awhile, you get so accustomed to using the unit, you no longer even use the sight glass.

I got mine a couple of days ago, and i hope I will learn how to use it!

So far, I am either flooding the atty, causing leaks; or I am not getting very good vapor. I haven't tried the tube mod, but i might if it will provide the proper amount of juice.

It's definitely par for the course that you'll experience some flooding when learning how to use it, but hang in there. If you haven't already tried it, i would recommend taking your Vapemate and a juice bottle filled with water and practice squeezing it over the sink so you can get a visual feel for how much juice comes out with varying squeezes and positions. It's surprising how little of a squeeze it takes.

Excellent news to hear that a lot of VapeMates came in over the weekend, just in time for Football! I sent out the last of the "pre-orders" on Thursday so i'm all caught up on Vapemate shipments through thursday. I should also mention i sent out (on thursday) two 5ml bottles each to the customers who originally didn't get them with their orders. They fit like a glove on your Vapemate so keep an eye on your mail for those!

Have a great rest of the weekend!

I'm really excited as I just order a VapeMate last night. I've been contemplating the purchase for a while and had to justify the outlay as I have one box mod and a couple more on the way. But after watching HzG8rGrl's video (GO Gators!!!) and knowing David's precision and workmanship, it was a no-brainer. Now, the hard part begins-the wait.

Enjoy your weekend, Everyone!

I did use the water in empty bottle at first, and I realized something. Yes, it showed me how much juice came out. My problem was that I didn't know how much juice I should have. I am fairly new to dripping, so the water thing is great for vets, it may not be as informative to noobs like me who don't have a feel for normal dripping to start with.

Anyway, I think I got it. I put it on my new Roughstack, and I haven't had any problems since. I love this thing!

Wonderful! Looking forward to receiving the proper soft bottles and ditching these clear hard ones! The Perfect Fit dropper tip mod for soft tall 6ml bottles works a treat, but it'll be nice to finally have something that just works right from the start! Thanks, David! :)

OK, here is a couple of pics with the Roughstack and the vapemate. RSVapeHand.jpgRSVapeCD.jpg

David, received my bottles yesterday. Thanks so much, as that was above and beyond expectations.

I was wondering, if anyone has come up with a casing of sorts to be able to use the cisco 306 lr atty with the vapemate? I pretty much use it exclusively and therefor am not getting as much use out of my new toy as I would like to.

Some have made their own adapter and I am also actually having an adatper made to work with the 306. I'd would have liked to have had it done sooner, but i expect it in early January or perhaps late december.

the VM is limited to 510 attys for now, and i am curious about the coming adapters for other attys.
IMo the VM works best with LR 510s (duh!)
- as it's a tad hard to be precise with the amount of juice gets to the atty; sometimes too much sometimes too little, and since the LR atties burn a bit hotter than reg, you know it's going to burn it out if too much, and it will efficiently vaporize if just right, and will let you know if not enough.. burnt taste...

As a general vaping issue I wish we could more readily monitor the amount of juice going into the atty.
in fantasy, a see through atty, like the 306 would be great!

If you make them, will you be selling them? Handy with this sort of thing, I am not! lol

hey we might be on to something here: there is a thread about a make-shift d/tip for the LR 306. Take a dead 510 atty and cut off the connector leaving a barrel - that has a d/t attached - that goes over the 306.
-connect the barrel/cylinder/casing to the VM just like a regular 510 / vm connection ...?
I'll bet it "could" work. !

uhm Uke, the 901 works and happens to work well, I have a cisco LR 901 set up on mine and it puts out plumes of great tasting vapor. Waiting on some 801 adapter though because these newer 801 Mini's that Issac is selling are really awesome and they bring out the flavors of juice really well. Dave 801's adapters PLEASE

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year to you David
