thanks mwa; it feels like foggy monday to me... lol.
i am still working on the juice delivery ....
seems the tube spec/ bottle spec/ o ring / no ring... is a lot to fiddle with.
Not knocking; i just ordered another VM....
but still haven't dialed in the clean delivery system..
we'll probably need to get an updated "what works best" file going here. imo.

hey we might be on to something here: there is a thread about a make-shift d/tip for the LR 306. Take a dead 510 atty and cut off the connector leaving a barrel - that has a d/t attached - that goes over the 306.
-connect the barrel/cylinder/casing to the VM just like a regular 510 / vm connection ...?
I'll bet it "could" work. !

Hey ukeman, here is the thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/117298-no-cost-306-drip-tip.html

I'm sure David's 306 DT will be perfect and I can't wait to get one but this is a nice temporary solution until then. I've been using Cisco's LR306 with the VM on my P16 since I received it. It's not perfect but it gets the job done...

hey guy's just thought I'd share an update on the tube in the bottle mod-
I had problems with non-stop auto feed earlier -
solved it by putting a pin hole in the side of the tube near the top (lines up with the top flange of the bottle). The hole is big enough to let air into the tube when upright so it drains (as long as the hole is above the juice) but small enough so it still lets you pump the juice up. Also, since you do get air back in the tube, it makes it easier to judge how much juice you are pumping in.

I've been using it for 3 days and it seems to have solved the problem.

so jim does the airhole have to be big enough to have free flow of air? i mean, the 1/4"tubing is so thick and rubbery, a pin ..... seems to close right up... i tried a large paper clip to poke a larger more stable hole..
is that the idea?

I've been using mine on the 306. All you need is a dead 510 or carto. Pull the casing off and then use a small piece of the mouthpiece that ships with the 306 to use as a sleeve to hold the 510 tube on the atty. Here is a pic...

Ok, dripping is getting better for me. I like having no plastic tastes when the juice gets low like a cartomizer. I"m finding that's a lot more noticeable, after dripping off and on a few days. Unfortunately, 'tis the season for xmas with 5 teenage nieces/nephews, and giant vet bills for my dog upcoming too, so I won't be able to afford anything beyond juice for a bit yet. But this is next on my list!

Finally got mine ordered, I think it will make a nice addition to the ProVari I pre-ordered and for once I think I am content, at least until next year LOL. My wife said to pick out my gifts and figured this will do.

Thanks for all the info on this and other threads; it took me quite a while to get through this thread and along with original video by David and the great and professional :) videos by HzG8rGrl, I feel I won't have any problems with the learning curve.

Just hoping I can get before Christmas....

i'm just hoping you won't have to wait 'til Christmas to open it; unless thats the arrangement you prefer.
I ordered second one a couple days ago, and got my shipping notice this morning.

Perfect pic, Vapn.

I cut the 306 mouthpiece on mine longer so that a ttip touches it once inserted. I'm just curious, why do you cut the 306 mouthpiece so short?

I actually cut them just about flush with the top of the 306 atty now. That was a pic of my fist one. My reasoning was the heat from the LR atty might melt the plastic.

Thanks for the kind words. Davids fine workmanship and eye to detail made it so very easy to talk about on the video.
Just to point out, I have yet to have the feed problems others have talked about when using the VM with at the tubing. Not sure how to accomplish the constant feed set-up-LOL. I have tried to do so a couple times.
