No problem walk the planes ... I would rather be transparent and let everyone know, then hide my face and disappoint everyone! As far as the units that didn't take in the first process, are they being tossed or reused for the powder coating? f they are just being put aside, any chance of getting one as is for a discounted price? From the pic, it kind of gave it that really used, broken in look.

Luckily, the powder coating will fix it all ... another plus. It can hide small imperfections and still come out perfect. If we do keep any uncoated and *rough* will make sure to let you know for a discounted rate Thanks for the update Steve

Thanks Cancer ... No theories, and to be honest, I have seen personally the work this shop does. I have zero idea ... Clear came out BEAUTIFULLY ... and you would think clear/runs/etc... would be harder than the standard *black* ... No go.

If we keep the powder coating as our go to coating on Prodigy's then yes, absolutely. We will be able to do special orders, etc... Pinks/Purples/Blue's/etc... There may be a premium ($5-10) for a custom color other than black/gunmetal/clear, but we should be able to do it!

with this change, custom colors are much easier to produce. I seem to remember reading that powder coating is much more durable than anodizing. Am i off base Steve? Please draw the line at customizing a Dumwaldo "candycane" color, it just would be too much

Awesome, I love having things that look rusted, messy, broken in or damaged. For me, when things look too pretty, I am always worried about hurting them. When something is already beat up, I can live worry free about hurting it much more than it already is. I do need one nice looking one though so my wife doesnt yell at me when we have people over. Love to have a rough one though to match all my other stuff
You should see my motorcycle. Flat black spraypaint, no chrome, dents, scratches, things welded into place that have no business there, but its my bike, and I dont have to wash it but every 3 years. It could use some LED's though...hmm....Cancer...I think I found our next mod!!

I'm getting my own. Spikey is a fantastic woman but sharing the very first prodigy off the line... she is not mother Theresa.
I am batting pretty late in the order at 16651 though so she will probably have hers for a week or so before I get to see mine. Its all good though, I have infinite patience for PureSmoker. Spikey told me I do and i don't want to find myself strapped to a wall in leather panties so I am sure I have infinite patience. 8-o
