NO NO!!! I am stiill trying to get my face to heal from the rubberized carts on teh ladypipe and 401!!!
Latex allergy sucks.... it also risks lawsuits if he does not label the product as "containing natural rubber". Unless he wants to make it silicone... if it were silicone gloved I could mount the companion (juice delivery system) to the top of it with less problem....
imagine... enough juice for a whole day... 2 batteries to last the entire day and no other CRAP except an extra atty to bring out with me for the day! That would RULE!!

I gotta agree, that powder coating is (Yet Another) an improvement over anodizing...Quick Question... Gloss or Matte finish?
Quick Question #2.... PT's getting the same treatment/finish?
QQ #3...... Will the new Switch be mounted as pictured? Appears to be on a skewed plane vs. parallel to the body.
QQ #4..... Did ya source black 20awg cable for the 2nd PT run? If not, I'll be plenty happy with Blue.

A: At this point, we were going with *Satin* Kind of the best of both worlds. We will have the results tomorrow, of Gloss/Matte/& Satin to determine

A: We sent off roughly 40-50 to another anodizer in Alabama. We'll see how those turn out. If not so bueno, then yes, they will get the same treatment ... Powdercoating

A: Skewed plan vs. parallel? Its exactly parallel to the body Strato. We simply counter bored the piece holding the switch to make room for a lengthier throw.

I am in the same boat as you pretty much. I live on LI but don't drive and the outlets on the LIRR are standard 110v outlets so I have no need for the car charger but I thought it was nice that he actually says what kind of extra he is going to throw in.
As a former Janty customer I got used to being TOLD that the company takes care of their customers but then they don't actually do anything. At least PS is willing to commit to exactly how he is going to compensate delays.

Actually you can buy a 12V converter from wal-mart. Plug it into 110 in your house and it has a 12V plug in on it.

no exact date given yet, from what i understand Steve is getting them colored, and once that takes then they're good to go!
Understood! Getting offered anything for waiting just shows the difference between an excellent supplier (PS) and just a good one (Janty), who offered nothing to those who had to wait for the Janty Stick.

Just a comment, Steve - I'm not a customer yet, but used to design and manufacture some items for a business I used to own, and did some similar 'documentaries' on making of specific items, always love seeing others do it...it's just very cool to see 'from start to finish,' even when there are some 'hiccups' (e.g. going from anodizing to powedercoating) along the way, and it does say good things about customer interactions on your part, even/especially the couple of 'hiccups' being mentioned.
