Another thing I'm liking is if you flood your atty you can blow it back down in the feed system with out leaks

The dual coil plastic cartomizers wont work they are too fat.
Triple coil cartos work, had to pull out center contact, tight draw on these.

i thought it could only use the 3.7v 18650. Can you tell me the name of the 5v battery and where i can purchase one? i already have a vmod and would love to order the XL as long as i could vape at 5v. Thanks for your help.
You can get them at madvapes you need to get a 5v charger to nihm batteries

4.8 Volt NiMH Battery Cell don't forget the charger y ou can't charge these on a 3.7 v charger they are the same size as a 18650
I have never been one to go all fanboy about a mod before, but Damn! I'm Liking me some V-modXL
I too have a question.... What happens when this mod lies on its side... will it leak, because of of the way its feeding system works??? I have just watched a video review on VMod and I understand its feeding system now.....
I've never had any outside of the body leaks on the Vmod. I often carry it in my purse and have had no "icky" episodes at all. It gets plenty of tumbling and abuse. The kind of leak you've mentioned I've only seen on a couple of systems that work with ego batteries.
I imagine if any atty was held upsidedown long enough it could leak if it was fully loaded with juice--and with the vmod or vmod XL ( or any feed system), it could if there was extra pressure put on the bottle accidentally. But the sealed chamber really reduces that risk more than any other feed system I'm familiar with.
If you look at the video on the Vmod XL that started this thread you will see a new metal screw that goes under the cone. It has a rubbery seal on it that matches to another in the chamber. It simply does not leak. Any extra juice flow is in the chamber.
What video did you see? Is there another review of the XL?
