GOT THE VMOD XL! Haven't vaped for awhile. Running the 5v flat top battery from MV(green ones)and its working great! Was going to add a little solder blob but no need so far... Also got a couple of the io6 atty's to use with the AW IMR 18650 but its charging.

Ahh, buzzing lolol. 24mg is a little too much to start off with again. THANK YOU VAPAGE! Enough liquid to last me a long time with no dripping. I LOVE IT!

This thing hits fat with the hybrid atty it comes with and 5v battery btw. Its awesome!!

That's great! It sounds like you are the first one to receive from the latest batch. No need to "nipple" the battery any more -- the firing area was changed a bit. Glad you are enjoying.

And -- good job on returning to vaping. Yes, that 24 can be a lot -- especially with the more powerful mods!

Scot, I adore the SV attys! I've been using them for several months now in addition to my standard run of the mill, and my beloved IKV io6s and Cannons.

Re spacers, PM incoming!

That is good to know!!! I am not a 14500 fan, but for those that like it, it's gonna be a slick little mod! Maybe later on in my vaping life I will get to where I feel comfortable taking a smaller battery and less juice with me..with analogs I did not leave the house without 1/2 carton of cigs :( even when not planing to be gone for an hour...

kk, you're a girl after my own heart. Not that I took 5 packs of stinkies out with me, but I did have (at minimum) 6 packs open at any given time (for handy placement around the house, car, and purse). I also 'owned' at least 4 cartons at any time. Mamma mia, those were some odd days!

I invite all to Poland,

alcohol free for all!

Alcohol-free or FREE ALCOHOL?!?! LOL! I'm on my way, smilee! (Shall I bring your XL with me?)

Kat I never bought any less than 4 cartons at a time!!! in fact the day before I started vaping, it wasn't planned by the way. I had 1/2 carton and had sent hubby to pick me up 4 more, they are sealed down in the basement, I think it's a security blanket thing. My goal is to get where I can give them away and be "ok" with it. I still have 6 packs in the glove compartment in the truck and 2 packs in the garage....LOL can we say OCD?!? I am such a "what if" person hahahah

After liking the IKV i06 but having a hard time with the plastic tubes cracking, or drip-tips being too fat and causing tight air-draw, I am finding that the 1.8 ohm IVK "Platinum atomizer" is very very much like the i06, but without the headaches.

Very clean and strong atomizer, and the 1.8 is just right for 3.7 volts. Of course, if you happen to still have an o-ring in there that seals better than road kill, you must remove it when using atties that get air in from the side holes, like the i06 and this "Platinum atomizer". This means the setup does gurgle a bit, and juice seeps up between the atty barrel and the chimney wall, but if you can master the required squirsh, juice stays in the chimney and it's a darned good hit. And I do mean "hit". Whoa, feeling queasy, and that's from 10mg juice! You can go through a full 9 ml of juice in a single afternoon, and it's not being wasted. More like a StreetSweeper or a mortar than a Glock.

A tip for new Vmod users: pay attention to the pull as well as the push. When you squirsh juice on an atty, it's pushed up into the atty and over-feeds it. When you release, if you do it slowly, you will see the juice being drawn back down. That's important to clear the atty to just the right saturation level.

Oh wow, so you were like me! I had just over a carton when I started vaping. Gave those few packs away, but could not get rid of the full carton. I also kept a pack of cigs with me in my purse for SEVERAL months, altho I never smoked one. I finally got rid of the carton, but the lighter remained for several more months. Why? I don't have a clue.

But the day I tossed that last pack out... wow, talk about emotional. The vaping journey has brought many emotions to the forefront for me, and so I expect it has with others. I recall with fondness the fear I felt on the day I smoked my one and only last cigarette. I can only say "with fondness" now, a year later.

kk, you've been vaping for how long, 2 months? I have a sneaky suspicion that you will indeed give those cigs away, or toss them out when the time is right for you. It is really good to look at the "what ifs" in all areas of life! I love it that you are so honest about this!

What is this "Platinum Atomizer" you speak of? Got a link?

I just gave my spare packs from my glove compartment away a week ago. I haven't needed them there for months -- I actually forgot about them! I still have to find that spare carton and give it a new home. It's buried way under some vaping supplies.
