The Cisco works fine. It's just tall enough that the tip ends up being like a shorty.

I have a plastic marble one and it works too. -- but it's a little short.

The length of the Cisco is just under 1 3/8".

For me -- 1 1/2" - 1 3/4" would be best.

Now I'll go study up on the longer ones!

New goodies for my drip tip collection maybe?

Edit: And Ostinato is right -- there is space around the cone. I don't see this as problem -- but I've limited experience with 306 on anything.

Sweet. Thanks for the pics Ostinato. Pic quality is good enough for me to see it so it passes with flying colors. Much appreciated;)

@ Rose. Very good to hear. I'm going to make my order now. You rock for checkin that out. Saved me a few $ for sure! at A 0.25in will def. make a difference. As long as it fits and doesn't look like a 10 year old wearing his Dad's clothes I'll be satisfied.

After intensive testing on my battery VV 18 650 states the following:

BRC Ultrafire 3000mAh - scary .... - 5-6h of intensive smoking dualcoil 1.7 ohm
2600mAh Hi-max - not bad - 18h

therefore I said that I had to buy a battery before it arrives XL

I ask you for information where to buy AW (2.6, 2.9 mah) in Europe, or what other batteries do you recommend to xl

WOW 2600mAh 18650? ......... not a clue smilee.... There are a few UK shops you can try but they also carry only 2000mAh 18650's

My AW IMR18650 2000mAh battery last me all day and then some....I can tell when the voltage drops off at around 3.4 volts (ProVari volt meter) and I just pop them in a charger.

WOW 2600mAh 18650?
yepp hi-max, earlier WOW

fare well in tests lasting several days and my experience confirms this

when it comes to UF 3000 mah BRC is probably hit me a fake, because they behave as if they were 800 and not 3000 mah

I am only afraid that will enter the XL, because they have a 68.9 mm and a diameter close to 19mm, already in the charger barely fall (length about the problem to the diameter) and it will have to brush up a little;)

Got home yesterday to find the XL waiting for me. tried it for a while with both the AMG and silo that came with it. I am sorry to report that I am not quite impressed. I think I have become spoiled by my other PV and the HH357. A bit disappointed after such a long wait but maybe I'll give it another go and try another atty. I feel like I can't get the juice to feed correctly and got a burnt carto taste from the silo, and AMG also tastes metallic.

LUCKY MAN !!

hildcat - do not scare me

as you're not impressed, send it to me;)

But seriously it will certainly refine the technique and you will be satisfied, after all so many vmodians can not be wrong

Heya hildi.......I also had a time learning how to feed the beast... For me, it requires a tip upside down and a firm squeeze for a good long second....your first draw may seem a wee bit tight but smooths right out. That may be from juice not having cleared the airways and gravity takes time:confused: Good luck...I hope you find it a proper vape :)

Smilee, if I had over 300 posts it would go to the classys today. Since I am nowhere near that mark I will have to wait. Maybe by then I will have gotten the hang of it. Seriously though, I know I cannot yet post to the classys but if anyone is interested shoot me a PM and we can talk. Unfortunately I tossed the original packaging but I haven't spent more than a half hour with this thing. Its otherwise like new, plus I have several other silos and AMG's here that I could let go as a package. Let me know before I change my mind and put more juice through it.

Hildi -- if you're not getting any feed something is surely wrong. Try Vapage live chat. Hmm -- don't know if it's available on the weekend.

Have you tried to feed with no atty/carto? Give it a good squish and Look at it.

It's been suggested to insure you fill the carto and atty first before using. Some like to let the atty set for a few minutes, too. This allows the juice to soak in well to the mess.

And, remember, on the XL you can use most any 510 or 306 atty or carto.

Most mods have some learning curve. Even the mini-ecigs had a bit! Vmod(s) are no exception, but the LX has been pretty easy for even some very new vapors.

I'm sure if you can figure out what isn't right someone here will gladly offer advice.

And -- you don't have to have 300 posts for the classies anymore. You can get "verified". There is a sticky on how to do so in the Classified forum.

EDIT -- I may be wrong -- but I can't verify that.....yet! (I thought the verification process changed the rules on the 300 posts.)
