The XL will definitely take the load off the Provari. Mine is mad at me because the XL gets to go everywhere. Provari has to stay home to cook & clean & do my laundry.

I got my 1.5ohm i06s today. I burnt the 2.2 Silo carto that came with the VMXL with stacked 3.7v batts. My mistake, as I was chasing a warm vape. Got burnt. No problem. I still had the 2.2 hybrid atty to use on the VMXL. It just wasn't doing the trick for me, tho. I kept switching to my VVs for the watts I needed for satisfaction. The DC cartos were OK on the VMXL, but I wanted that atty hit. Know what I mean?
So, I ordered some IKV i06s and some AW IMR 18650# last Friday. I just received them today. Needless to say, the i06 DT doesn't work with the VMXL. I'm a modder and tinkerer, so I figured, "Let's use a regular 510 DT with the i06. What?? "How?", you say?

I cut down an old 510 SS carto with my handy-dandy pipe cutter. With the inward bent, tapered edge that the pipe cutter causes I was able to get a somewhat secure "bite" onto the i06. I wanted it to be super secure, as the threads on the VMXL are tight, to say the least, so I ran the pipe cutter around the carto sleeve with the i06 inserted in the sleeve to make a second "bite".
End result: A 1.5ohm IKV i06 with SS tube and polished SS DT on a V-Mod XL. = Vape Heaven!!

I'm sure I could do the PTVMXL, but I don't spent much time sitting at a desk where it would be useful to me.
I have to finish swapping a transmission in my car, but after that headaches over I plan on doing the lighted bottle mod in the VMXL.

my batteries and charger + vmod arrived at the same time . I'm sitting in my room right now and test drive the thing , and OOOOHHHH MY GOOODDDD !!! the throat hit at 5v (2.8 silo) , vaporrrrrrrr and flavooorrrrrr !! OHHHHH SSSS**** ( BEEP ) ( BEEP ) this thing is OUTSTANDING!!!
It makes me giggle when I see the happiness the XL brings to you guys. I may only be Fanboy #1, but I feel like an Evangelist carrying the Word.
