I've posted this before, but it's buried back in pages now. The whole has to be there. Below is a picture of the feed chamber cannibalized from a mod. The bottle screws into the lower "barrel", the juice is pushed up the narrow portion into the upper "barrel" where the atty/carto screw in. The feed system has to have a "relief valve" so to speak for times it is overfed. The venturi serves as a valve since it is below the feed hole and we a know about gravity. :) That is the reason for the catch cup. A cold vape will pull the juice into the feed chamber. In a perfect world we would be feeding at the precise rate to have no excess pressure and no juice in the catch cup.

Wrt the atty gasket, some might be a hair too thick. You can try to trim it ever so slighty. AG suggests turning it inside out if it seems too loose. But make sure you have removed the stock one too!

Hope that helps.

Just thought I'd pop in with some feeding comments.

We've mentioned often in this thread that it's important not to over feed the VMOD.

Welp! One of mine is constantly bone dry. Not a leak in sight. What I have found interesting is that with the last 2 bottle fills of juice, I have not once squished the bottle. I have only tipped and vaped, and it is working perfectly! Go figure. Gravity is feeding it and it's constantly the right amount of juice.

Happy Vapes, kids. :D

Didn't Joker originally say no squonking? I too have been playing around, but not as successful as you Kat. I guess I need 13 more to experiment with, huh? :)

Do the new V-Mods have the gasket and catch cup kit installed?

TIA

The catch cup may or may not be installed on new Vmods.
Some have it installed, others may need to be installed.

The upper gasket slips around the atomizer, so it's not installed.
It should be a snug fit, or else it will ooze juice around the atomizer.

Try post 637 Fernand.

No - I don't have the numbers memorized!

Down at the bottom of the thread there is a section called "tags for this thread" --- if you scroll down there you can see that members have added some of the post numbers of a few of the informative posts so everyone can find them easier.

Can anyone tell me how the Vapage batt's for the VMOD compare to the AW IMR 14500's I'm currently using on mine:confused: Also has anyone else had the problem where you're VMOD tries to convince you it needs a sibling like mine is doing right now:facepalm:

My 2 are trying to gang up on me now..... The worst part is they want new clothes to boot...

Well -- it's a good time for it --- sales still on!

I've had sibling fever too ---

My credit card is too aware of it!

On the batteries --- I heard from Brian that they tested out well---pretty consistent and decent life span.

AG had some good things to say about them and I think it was something like --- may even like the vape better than his AW IMRs.

Trying the Vapage batts now. I use AW high drains usually. Gonna test under load and will report after batt charges off second cycle.

Four Vmod house here, so no sympathy!
