I'm lost, but that's easy for me to do.

I see you! We're over here!

Acrolein? Not possible.
Go read some threads in the Health section.

Water in the juice?
Makes all juice taste like crap IMO.

Don't like the VMod?
Your prerogative.

Personally, I love the Vmod!
I guess that's why we have different devices available. One mod does not fit all. I think the Vmod is great! Is there a learning curve? You bet. Takes some trial and error to get it in sync for some users. Worth the effort IMHO.

Have a nice day! :)

This might be of interest------another supplier's battery comparison.

I'm going to be the devil's advocate here --- If I remember correctly, one of the situations with non AW batteries has been that the mAh ratings have been over exagerated. So, my first inclination is to not trust the mAh --- sorry Brian!

However, it also seems like there is some good performance changes going on with batteries----with some new "supplier branded" batteries.

So --- I guess it all really boils down to how they are holding up for the users..............and that test is just beginning here with these Vapage batteries.

AG, I'm sorry you see that as confrontational, but it's NOT a matter of personal taste whether coils have segments that are off the wick. Look at the photos.

At 280 deg C glycerin breaks down, and some acrolein is produced. Normally, in an atomizer, the juice does not reach 280 deg, the ceiling is set by the boiling temp of the mixture, and the liquid cools the coil. But if parts of the coil are glowing orange, those areas have escaped the cooling, you KNOW it's more than 280. Most juice contains at least some glycerin. Between where that nichrome is glowing and where it's immersed, there's a temp and reaction gradient, and if there is ANY glycerin in the liquid, it WILL be breaking down in some regions. What makes you say it isn't so? Can you explain?

Chemically, the question is how much of the produced acrolein will immediately react with other components, and I simply don't know. I'm pretty sure I can smell acrolein, it's that harsh bitter part of the burning grease "aroma", and it doesn't take much to smell it.

If you like the device, and if there is even a remote chance of acrolein being produced, or even if it's just that the coil winding is so sloppy, the switch lock doesn't work, the charger is bad etc, QA should promptly be looked at, and it's incorrect to say it's just a matter of "personal preference", isn't it? Why should we have to "take it or leave it"?

As to preference, different matter entirely, e.g. I don't care for the taste of their cartos. And whether 10% water makes juice taste bad IS subjective. I rather like it, but I don't really care about throat hit.

I also like the VMOD when used e.g. with better cookers, e.g. Boge 2 ohm cartos. I'm hoping to see more mods of the VMOD :)

BTW, the switch problem can be patched by cramming a little piece of rubber in the corner next to the positive terminal, so the battery is lower down.

WOW !! there are almost as many likes as posts here. While I type this: posts ~3450, likes ~3448. Sweet !!

Now, with that said ~ pros and cons are always appreciated here. Us vmodians are not closed minded, only passionate about our mod. This mod just may not be for you, if not they don't last long in the classy's at all.. After all mods are like everything else in life -- subjective.. Kinda like: tighty whities, boxers, or nekkid... :)

I have an excuse, It's called od'ed on nyquill !!!!!!

Love vaping on my vmod and original buzz

Hi, guys I am new to you :).

Yes, it is a learning curve:laugh::laugh::laugh:.
Before purchasing a Vmod I took some of my time and read all pages of the thread
to get some idea and info.

Welcome to the fold Kasia! KBV OMG was my very first Ah-ha juice, as in a keeper. Also how I learned I am sensitive/allergic to VG. I still vape it, but only as a treat via a few drips once in awhile.

All opinion & obs should be welcome here. Heck, that is how Vapage was able to tweak the chassis & atty improvements we all now enjoy. ;-)

Disclaimer; not everyone is going to love the Vmod or any other mod. But for sixty bucks, I think it's well worth a shot if you've already got the batts & charger. They have not lasted long in the classys at all.
