Yes, I'm so sorry about that. A little epoxy got to the potentiometer screw. That's what you get when everything isn't done all by myself. I've already started on your new one. Again, so sorry. That shouldn't have been overlooked.

No stress I love it it is all I hoped for. I have been sneaking my wife's when she's not looking. But it has hardly left her hand since it arrived.

Hi,

Does the left one a black ice heavy texture?
If it is, does it offer a pleasant grip and isn't the texture fragile?

I purchased mine 20 days ago and I look in my letter box 7 days a week for 21 days or more ;)
I will probably buy a holster but I'm afraid to damage the texture when often taking it in and out .
What do you think about?

Yes it is Black Ice Heavy Texture and it is not fragile at all I love it. I'm sure with any repeated rubbing you will get wear spots in the powder coat but not as quickly as paint.

Powder coat is very durable. I have a powder coated bicycle that has been ridden daily for 5 years, banged around in bike racks and the fronts of buses, ridden on long trips with panniers and camping equipment, and crashed a number of times. In spite of all this the frame looks new unless you get close up an inspect it for minor flaws.

I believe it to be more resistant to wear than anodization or any other finish other than bare stainless steel or chrome painting. It also seems to me that the textured finish would be even more resist to visible damage because the texture would hide it.

Allright, I feel secure knowing that.

The box made it and the Saber is perfect. It is all that I hoped for and more, well worth the wait.

I ordered a Black Ice Heavy Texture too and I'm looking for a drip shield that fits.
But I can't really imagine the color when I look at your pics, on the first one , it looks black and on the second one, it looks blue (probably due to the light), I would like to know if it is really black like the first pic I hope so and I hope you understand my English
