I simply raised both hands into the air and said "because I like this," raised Reo hand a little higher, "better than this," raised hand with Provari. <Shock and Awe> :ohmy::blink:8-o:shock:

Being the proud owner of three of the latter, I was shocked myself that those words passed my lips, but as I studied both devices I realized that I am a true Reonaut.

All she could muster was a bewildered, "really?"

"Yep" was all I had to say.

<Nod of acceptance from wife>

. . . . .just hold it up, huh? . . . . . and say "I like this, better than this"?

Cracking me up, debating whether I should copy that into my sig.

My DW knew I bought the black wrinkle/white… Then a few weeks later I got #2, the white/black wrinkle. She looked at it, tilted her her head, gave me the squint eye, shook her head and walked off. A few hours later she had a new pair of boots in the closet. A new REO is a win for both of us!!!

Yeah, my wife is pretty understanding when it comes to me buying more mods. All she asks is that the bills are paid, well, I'm two weeks ahead of schedule, and there are three more paydays this month.

Usually she just says "How many devices do you need?" sarcastically.

My wife never even asks how much my mods costs or my audio equipment and I don't grouse about her trips to Europe or New York or Napa Valley and the one she's contemplating to Australia. She's not interested in my "hobbys" and I don't like to travel. We have a mutual understanding and life is good.:D
