Now thats funny MTL or lung hitting has nothing to do with it. If you vape less than 15 watts your generally considered to be tootle puffing and over 15 watts but not cloud chasing your mod womping. Both the tootle puffers and mod wompers are great crowds and many of us are part of both groups. Your welcomed to hang out here in the Womper room or pop into the tootle puffers room and say hi. EDIT: I guess we're just plain 'ol vapers and that's cool with me. We vape under 15 watts, I lung hit and Jackie takes a lung hit once in a great while so we don't belong in either group. Oh well, life goes on...

Your kinda in that thread now. This thread is kinda like back in the smoking days. Just walk up, light up and talk. Or don't talk. No rules. Sounds like they have alot of rules over there which is surprising as we are mostly a people pushed to the outside by society and now they wanna be like the snobby kids to the............................................jesus sounds to much like high school.

Wife and I are just sitting here realizing what home bodies we have become. We have some time off and some money. And I used ta roll to Montana on a whim now I can barely find the interest in going to Walmart. We can fly anywhere and driving distance would be Niagara Fall, 1000 Islands, Lake Placid, NYC, Atlantic City, Boston, Maine, Vermont.......................................And I'd just as soon build coils. We can be on a plane and on the beach in Tampa in 2½ hours for a 100 bucks but I can some DIY to do.

I hang out with groups of vapers everyday. Some times we do talk vaping but mostly its work or guns or trucks.

I know most mods by look but have no way of knowing your wattage. Most people I know are at 40-50w but they well be running at 10w. I've actually tried to force myself to care how other people vape but I just don't have it in me.

Its hard to put into words exactly but people who are easily led tend to wanna command. They spout the party line without really knowing what the other side is all about. If you just read around here you start to think tootle puffers are this huge army of thousands but after awhile you notice its just the same 10 people over and over and over and over again. Half a dozen people here I could handle there vaction post count for them with some copy and paste work. If they ever had a original thought it would be scared and lonely and just fade away.

But as Boden said, it's a micro management game to try and categories vaping styles. I generally vape at 10-11 watts, however I usually lung hit from my Kayfun V4, so what category would I fit into? I'm a flavor chaser.

Not in the world, I would have no way of getting that data, I mean here on ECF.

I actually vape at what wattage amuses me at the momment so at any given time I do it all. Very rarely below 30w though. Or above honestly. I'd say 90% at 30w.

I lung hit all the time and I am a tootle puffer and a mod womper. I vape at 10 watts at times and vape at 100 watts at other times. All depend on my mood. If you lung hit or MTL has no meaning here. That girl who told you different is clueless!

I am a 50 yr old helicopter mechanic who loves Sabbath and heavy metal, and I kill lots of germans on my XBox one playing sniper III as well as many other games!

Tootle puffers and Mod wompers are all flavor chasers. It just some prefer lower wattage flavors chasing and others prefer higher wattage flavor chasing. Generally below 15 watts is tootle puffing range but any and all are welcomed in both camps and the only real rule in both camps is to have respect for each other. Nothing says you have to vape above 15 watts to be in the mod wopmer camp nor does anything say you have to vape less than 15 watts to hang out with the tootle puffers. many of us are members of both groups. You will see Boden, coolrat, myself and others posting in both groups.

Exactly this... The way I vape is totally tootle territory... but I enjoy the coil-building aspect, though it seems that a lot of tootlers are also "blister packers". So I hang in here too, for chatter about vaping methods that go far beyond anything I can actually vape myself, just because it's interesting.

I got into coil building for 1) self-sufficiency -- no more waiting around on that sluggardly mailman to BRING ME MAH COILS! and 2) economy -- much cheaper to buy wick and wire and do it myself, though I also bought a nice 3" vise to hold the base in place so I don't have to chase it all over the countertop when trying to mount a coil. But 7 wraps 29ga around 3/32 gives me a nice tootling 1.7-ish ohms = totally tootle territory. And I don't even care if cloud chasers laugh at me; it keeps me off cigarettes.
