That's my problem, too, the joint right at the base of my thumbs, and it's BOTH thumbs. I was OK until I had to hand milk one of my cows that has teeny-weenie teats. I finally got a machine, but I spent two years hand milking her and crying every day there towards the end, and the damage seems to be permanent. Sometimes I can't even pick the Tylenol up from the table. I have to sweep it off into my palm. It SUCKS getting old. Luckily, I have a friend who can do coils, so maybe if I find I can't, I can sweet-talk her.
Thanks for that link,
@TrollDragon - that would probably help a great deal. There's NO WAY in hell I could install a coil, no matter how perfect, in one of those tiny Kanger attys, but maybe I can learn how to do the iSub ones. At least those are bigger. I can't even get the little rubber/silicone insulator grommet thingie off the bottom of the Kanger attys. Even with pointy tweezers. I could DESTROY it, but then it would be destroyed!

I'm sure there's some trick to it, I just have to find out what it is. Or there's no trick, and I'm just going to be physically unable to do it. And that right there is a good reason to use blister-pack coils.
