I had a SXml for most of last week. My friend Nick bought it but didn't like the feel so he offered it to me. I thought it was too heavy as well and did not like the fire button.

Yeah different strokes, personally the weight doesn't bother me at all..

Can I ask what you didn't like about the fire button, I really like it..

Been wanting a Hawkens for years. Just wished it was a .54 cal so I could use the same bullet mold as I have for my Sharps carbine.

The Hawkens is a .50 right? Yeah, having one Caliber would make things easier/quicker. Still very nice though, I dont own any Blackpowders, but have always been interested in them. Love the Classic Designs...

At the moment it seems the only thing you can find in kit form is the .50.

You should give BP a try. You could pick up a nice .44 revolver with all the basic items for $250

All you would need is some black powder and some caps.
