Agreed, more than enough airflow on both of them, the KS has surprised me a lot, I guess because it's so different, I pretty much dismissed it, takes a little longer to setup but it's worth it

Hopefully tomorrow. Its on its 5th coat of true oil now and probably two to three more coats before I will start installing the hardware.

Was totally surprised by this kit. Its a Traditions 50 cal hawkins rifle and all the reviews I read said only light sanding and minor fitting required....yeah right! The stock was a third of an inch wider than the .... plate on one side and close to the same with the nose cone. It took some serious elbow grease with some 60 grit sand paper but it looks good now.
