I have a strawberry shortcake recipe that uses sweet strawberry and yellow cake, along with probably some cream and maybe a little EM. If the forum is still behaving when I come back down here, I'll give you the recipe. It's not a show-stopper, but it's good. (I measure everything now against my Hazelnut Caramel Cupcake recipe, which IS a show-stopper! LOL!)

Ooooh, and I got vape mail yesterday, too! A very sweet and kind fellow ECFer sent me a package that he said contained some partially used samples of juices he didn't particularly care for but that he thought I might like (they smell fabulous, so I don't think he "didn't like them," I think he was just sharing), and he said he was tossing in a few "extras." When I opened the box, there were the juice samples, as well as a gorgeous Clouper Mini in burnt orange, which is like my very favorite color, and two RDAs, a Fishbone Plus and a Stumpy (clone, I assume). We'd been talking about me trying dripping, and I said I was too busy to sit around and drip all day (what a picture that phrase brings up in my mind! ) and then some others talked me into trying it for my juice making adventures. I could see the point, for trying out a new recipe I was making, or comparing to an "original" when I'm trying to clone of them, so I said I should prolly get two. So he sent me two. Bless his heart!

And I installed my first coil yesterday. I think I did it wrong, because I watched a video and the guy said he likes to put a single coil in perpendicular, between the posts, so that's what I did, but then someone else told me it would probably spit at me real bad that way. I haven't actually used it yet, but I was gonna do that today. If I end up with a burned lip, then I guess I screwed up. But now that I've done it once (and I did a good job of it, too, I'm so proud of myself!), I can do another one off to the side or something. I'm starting on another adventure, so I'm sure there will be little bumps in the road here and there, and probably a pothole or two. But it's all good.

oh that is soooooo wonderful!! What a sweet thing for "him" to do!! And look at you building some coils now! Once you realize how good dripping is......but that dripping is a pain....you can start saving for a Reo (yanno I'm just messin with ya, cuz I can, and I'm good at it)

Strawberry Shortcake

8% Sweet Strawberry (CAP)
7% Yellow Cake (FW)
5% Sweet Cream (CAP)
5% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (CAP)

I didn't have the ice cream flavor when I made this the first time, so I used Vanilla Bean Gelato and it was still really good. You could put anything in there, I think, as long as it backed up the "creamy" flavor.

This next one I haven't made yet, but I've been wanting to. As soon as I get a bottle emptied...

Twinkies

5% Yellow Cake (FW)
5% DX Vanilla Cupcake (TFA)
4% DX Bavarian Cream (TFA I think)
4% Sweet Cream (CAP)
5% Sweetener

My eyes kinda popped out at the 5% sweetener (I use EM for my sweetener), but hey, Twinkies are sweet, and this recipe is supposed to hit the taste of a real Twinkie dead-on, so if you like Twinkies, and I do, this might be very good.

Anyway, that's the only two I have that use Yellow Cake flavor. Maybe one of them will strike your fancy.

Ok, so, I have gone back to my Cleito for round two, those dry hits were a no no but I have changed the coil and everything is back to being OK but 5 days on a coil is also a big no no, I'm used to 3 to 4 weeks so if this one goes the same, I won't be buying more coils.
It a real shame if that is the case as it's still my favorite tank with the Super Tank being second, the only reason is the air flow on the Cleito is soooooooo good, the best of any tank I have had, the flavor and vapor production at 45w is incredible, it can chuck clouds like a TFV4 at half the wattage..

It also looks dam pretty

Upstate is a different animal than the city. I've never lived anywhere in NY than either Brooklyn or Staten Island. Oh I did live in Long Island for a couple of years but didn't really care for it. I like having something to do 24/7 and that's what NYC gives ya. I think that's why I'm having a little bit of a hard time adjusting here. It's quiet, very quiet and I not really used to that. Sure it's good at times but I don't like sitting around and vegging out! The Mrs. and I take short driving trips every week just for a change of scenery. Don't get me wrong we have a beautiful home that we could never have afforded in NY and the winters are to die for. But culturally I'm kid of lost. I've heard some good things about Texas!

I wish I got to grow up in NYC! Always something to do, and you can walk EVERYWHERE!! Way more "Social" than down here, we talk through phones and such and rarely Face to Face anymore... Iv been there many times when I was younger. I always think of the movie "Hackers" though when I think of NYC, its the city that never sleeps! lol

I stayed in Upstate NY when I was 14 for around 6months, not a thing to do except go in the woods and shoot! lol
Too bad i didn't have a 4-Wheeler or something....
During Winter time, people were all riding Snow Mobiles everywhere and me and my mom went to a Diner and were one of the few people that didn't take a Snow Mobile there, and it was almost fully filled with people!
We had a 4X4 Suburban that no snow or ice could stop, well at-least on the roads lol

Regardless we have no shortage of drunk aholes on quads tearing things and I hate them both.
