OCD Of the Year Award
(vapers are the most OCD people I've ever met, as a group. It has something to do with the missing alkaloids. I'm looking for grant money to study this)

Hmmm... I wouldn't say OCD is a huge part of my psyche -- but impatience, oh very much, a BIG part of my psyche. I'm down to just 3% WTA now, so the alkaloids are getting scarcer, but they're not gone yet. I seem to be one of those who can't just quit them cold turkey -- if it had only been nicotine that ensnared me, I might have been more successful in my previous efforts to quit. For me, being able to wean off the minor alkaloids very slowly has been an essential, inescapable part of becoming and staying smoke-free.

I am *so* glad my wife doesn't read this forum.

It's just hard for me to imagine that there are wives who value any amount of money over their husband's lives. I couldn't live without my husband, and he's thrilled that he'll probably have me around for a few more years, since I don't smoke anymore. He doesn't CARE what vaping costs, even if it cost just as much as cigarettes, because it's 500% better in every other way! The fact that it's also less costly is just icing on the cake!

Kids are pretty tech smart these days..But what saddens me is that they will never know the thrill of blowing out a tank of gas in one of these bad boys.

Louisiana is a grrrreat state for that. We are still under the Napoleonic laws which means no such thing as common law so if we go our separate ways, I keep my stuff

My missus shocked me today. That dadburn FEDEX guy didnt show up until after she got home from work with my new Xbox. Missus asked what was in the box so I told her. She asked why I didnt play the one the nephew had in our bedroom and I told her it was old and not mine, so she said ok and let it go. She is up to sumptin, that was too easy lol

Heh... well I've been giving him reminders all week, about my upcoming no-smoke-a-versary, and I finally told him I didn't care about an anniversary present, after 28 yrs, HE is my gift, that he still manages to come home from work every day and make a living to support us (after the economic issues of a few years ago, that last is really a gift!!!)... but that I thought I deserved a nice gift after not smoking for a full year -- after that relapse fiasco last summer that set it back about 5 months! So yesterday was payday, and I worked out the budget very carefully for all needs plus some to lay aside towards my dr appt next month, and was able to budget-in my present... an Evic-VT and some titanium wire, which I ordered last night.

I am 58 and ex smoker for 40+ years....how much time do I have!?.....And I can always change my occupation and go "pimpin"!

EDIT: Moral of this is, I cannot take it with me so spend it!......But those blue pills are pricy, need to rethink my strategy.
