Oh, Rixy, I forgot to tell you about the itchy foot thing. Deb just reminded me (thanks, Deb!). I get that when I'm super stressed. The itch that just won't go away! Beer will help. :) Try to get un-stressed, and the itch should stop. ;)

Installing coils can range from interesting to annoying. Velocity decks, of which the Boreas is, install in seconds. Wicking takes even less time.

While the Griffin is considered the Niagara Falls of tanks the Boreas is stupid simple.

I like stupid simple. The stupider simpler the better! ;) But now, since I ordered enough flavors to last for several years (shhhh, it'll only be months), I might have to wait a bit. But that's OK. Maybe the gold one will be out by then. :D

Even if you sent a freakin' LIMOUSINE, we still couldn't go there. We haz a farm. There's no trips anywhere when you haz a farm. It's a good life, but our feetz is pretty much nailed to the ground here. ;)

I decided against the unnatural blood red raspberry, but ONLY because I'm leery of Flavor West and because it looks like it has food coloring in it. I'll just use my FA raspberry, and I still have some Capella's raspberry also. What I also will have in the next week is forest fruit, glazed doughnut, banana cream, vanilla whipped cream, cheesecake graham crust, sweet watermelon, sweet strawberry, pie crust, butter cream, whipped cream, sweet cream (a LOT of sweet cream), blueberry jam, creamy yogurt, cantaloupe, sweet mango, papaya, cocoa, dark vapure, fresh cream, banana nut bread, banana split, blueberry extra, root beer float, vanilla custard V1 (yes, I'm gonna try the original), cake batter, fudge brownie, and coconut. That should get me by for a while, don'tcha think? ;) Most of those I already had and needed to restock, but some are new that I've been hearing about and wanted to try.

I'ma need a bigger toolbox.

You spoil me. :p:wub: I'm still using the coil you built on the Lemo2! LOL! I have everything I need to build my own coils now, so I guess it's time I actually DID it! I installed a pre-built coil on a little RDA (a Stumpy), but I think the installation is the hard part. It really doesn't look that hard to wrap a coil. I just need to sit down with Steam Engine and plug in my wire stats and desired resistance results and I should be good, right? I'll probably be asking for reassurance when I finally do this for real, but I've been over and over it in my head, and I think I can. (I think I can, I think I can, I KNOW I can! LOL!) But thank you so, so, so much for the offer, and for taking such good care of me.
That's a lot of flavors, the FA Unnatural Raspberry just smells so nice that I have to include it but at a low percentage.
As for the coils, you can always buy a coil master V3, I wouldn't be without mine.

And now we're broke...:(
But your wife is happy :p

FA or FW? In any case, "Unnatural raspberry" is funny!

I have a Coil-Something. It's a pretty neat kit with every kind of thing I'd ever need to build a coil. Pliers, tweezers, snips, a little wire (but I have many lifetimes' worth of wire now), jigs, and all sorts of cool stuff, all in a handy zippered case. :) I sound like a commercial.

Sorry yes FW... What is you don't like about FW ?
Sounds like your set to start building, do you have some ceramic tweezers, essential tool for making your coils look pretty ;)

How can one be stressed vaping the Boreas :p

@Lannie

For some reason coil making seems to make people go in a panic. It really is quite easy.
Just do it and you'll say, is that all there is to it!
Like @Rixsta said a Coil Master and you'll be making coils like a pro.
And like @coolerat said the build deck in the Boreas is simple and easy.
When you do get one I'm sure we'll all be to happy to help. :D

Oh I almost forgot. Second Boreas shipped! On the way!!!:banana::banana:
Another one, black or SS ? I can absolutely see why you'd get another one though, I'm just holding off to see if the gold happens. I hope it's not Rose gold though.

Yeah but if your good at making coils which I'm guessing you are, that's all the tools ya need. I suck but now with the coil master my coils look and work amazing, some say it's cheating and lazy but I don't care, I say a 5 pack of coils is lazy, I'm coil master dependant ha

Shhhhhh...
I only have a hundred zillion in tools in my workshop, but you're gonna make Lannie ask me to make her a coil-building tool shelf.... (of course, she'll need a bigger house to install it in) o_O

The purple and blue things you can see are for making coils but I don't use them that way, just as a mandrel.

For exotic coils I make some and buy some. When I have an order to 3F I tack on a 10 pack of one style or another. They run about 3 bucks a 10 pack and are very very good. For example installe 2 .6Ω and get .3 everytime.

Another Black one. The Stainless one looked a little to polished to me. I like matte finishes. If the Gold one looks nice I'll get one of those too! ;)

You got a thousand of those drill gauges from Handyman Club??

Use one of those to drill the right sized holes.

For building the best money I ever spent was a set of Wiha hex drivers.

YES, I have ceramic tweezers. :D And some bendy ones. :) We used those to get the teeny screws out of the oven floor when I dropped them and they naturally rolled right into one of the vent holes and ended up in the totally inaccessible part of the floor. They worked good for that. ;)

The thing about FW is there's scuttlebutt about what they're NOT saying is in their flavors. They won't say, one way or the other, apparently, and a lot of people have stopped buying their flavors. Not that they taste bad, but they don't want to say what's IN them. The other guys (CAP, FA, TFA, etc.) don't seem to have any problem with disclosure. So I'm stickin' with THOSE guys. :) I do have a few FW flavors, but until I can find out more, I won't be getting any further stuff from them.

Oh, man, I panicked when I found out I'd have to push a button to fire my mod! LOL! "I don't wanna do THAT! How am I gonna remember to push the BUTTON every time????" I mean, SERIOUSLY? So, yeah, I know it's not a big deal. I've done things that would curl your hair or make you vomit up your shoes, so I think building a workable coil should be pretty easy, compared to a lot of things I do.

I think the kit Rich got me is a Coil Master kit. Is that a brand name? If so, then that's what it is. It's upstairs, and I can't see it right at the moment, but my tools look like yours. Mine are in a case, although if I had the room, I'd like a thing with holes in it like you have. ;) It would make it easier to grab stuff. Rich just needs to buy me that great big house, and then he can make me a board with holes in it, and I'll be all set. ;) Until then, I'll just keep them in the "handy zippered case" that I can tuck away on a shelf. :D

Oh, yeah, I have a hex driver, too, but just one. I hope that's all I'll need, at least for a while. It worked on the Stumpy posts. :)

Speaking of those turkeys... Many years ago, I got a Lifetime membership with them and then they got bought out by some sports company and stopped printing their magazine. They think we all can just read it online. The monthly woodworking magazine was my only reason for joining and I don't have a computer in my woodworking area. I'll be darned if I'm gonna use the printer for every little drawing I want to take to the shop.

You kinda need 3,.9-1.3-1.5. In general each, including the Boreas come with a hex key. But they suck. Harbor Freight has a set thats good but the Wiha are a joy to use.

Man is a tool buying animal. Oh wait isn't that supposed to be tool using??

When I die my wife is gonna have the mother of all garage sales. My biggest fear is she will sell they for what I told her I paid for them.
