Hmmm... I guess she doesn't think your life is worth $3k? Maybe you should ask her. :D (but maybe wear a helmet and ear plugs when you do). ;)

Andria

I asked her why it was fine and dandy to give her $5K so she could get a boat but if I wanted to spend $3K on myself it wasnt ok. That "you will pay for that comment" look was kinda chilling lol

This has probably been answered but I don't want to have to read all 62 pages... is there a max wattage limit for entry into this club? I could be pushing the limits.

Modwomper is somewhat synonymous with middle, all, leftover, part time cloud chaser/tootle puffer. We even let the dog in here ;)

my personal style is 2-4ml a day of sweet 12mg goodness on a coil ranging from 0.7-1.2ohm. I like not burning a hole in my throat, but also enjoy blotting out the tv occasionally :)

I really do need to find the right build for this chalice iii though. The .5 twisted was too hot, this .7 26g is good, but it's not quite perfect yet.

Nope.

Lol, I think we are the more reasonable and practical gender, but I'm biased.

I agree. Anytime I want to get logical about something, my husband sometimes goes along for the ride, sometimes not. Example: when our son was in first grade and got into a scrap with another boy, and hit him... my husband was all "I'll beat his [....]!" When I asked him how that would teach him not to fight, he gave me that tilted-head puppy dog look, as if he couldn't quite puzzle out what I was talking about. When I explained that a grown man hitting a child would only teach our boy that you can get away with violence if you're bigger and stronger, he *started* to get it. Suffice it to say that *I* was the one who handled that little disciplinary problem... and our son never got into another fight. But he does stand his ground. :thumb:

Thankfully none of them have learned how to make phone calls or Pete would be ordering pizzas.

My Greys figured out how to use the tablet. Miss Merlin loves the crossword puzzle game. When you get a wrong word it makes a fart sound, which is one of her favorite sounds :D So she will happily play with it for an hour, typing in words and imitating farts back to it. Obviously she can't read so she gets all the words wrong :). Actually she can barely see, but she can highlight a word on the puzzle, then type on the keyboard that pops up. She also likes to text people.

When I've been out of the living room for "too long", Oobie imitates the phone ringing. I yell back, "Hello! Who is it?". She answers, "Meeeee," and I reply, "I'll be over to visit soon.". Then she says, "Ok, bye.". And if soon doesn't come soon enough she imitates the text message sound.

Pete loves watching serial killers on TV. He laughs like a psycho when they attack people. Criminal Minds is his favorite show. He also has a crush on the female computer whizz actress.
Bwahaha... I so enjoyed reading that!![emoji1]

I added a quit banner... getting ready for the Big 1.0 Celebration in a couple weeks

Isn't it exciting?!?!?! I haven't been this excited since I hit my first year sober! :D Which, at the time, seemed as completely miraculous as a year without smoking!

Are you running the Chalice on the Smoke Owl or a Reo?
I was looking at the clone Reo and Chalice III thinking that might be a nice little setup to get into squonking.

Very exciting! Never before in my life since age 16 (42 years ago) have I gone more than a month or so. That was the one time, in the early 90s, I more or less quit for a year or two, before my doc refused to renew my nicorette prescription and I immediately relapsed. During that time I would sneak a smoke every now and then, usually once a week I think. And I owe it all to vaping. I know I could not have done this without vaping. And except for about 3 days (day 4-6) it was amazingly easy. And I lived with a 2 PAD smoker full time.

Wow, that was too easy :toast:

I think this is where I belong :)
Well I knew I didn't belong with the Tootles because even though my clouds are ashamed of me only building .7ohm single coils,... I do lung hit. My clouds more resemble mama's old steam iron that I remember.[emoji1]

Good to find other in between vapors isn't it?[emoji106]

Your wife didn't have a sister that was sent away when they were born did she? They say that everyone has a twin...

All my mail goes to a P.O. Box and I am the one who picks up the mail. A quick transfer of the package contents to the EDC vape kit and home I go... ;)

Saves conversations about when are you quitting your vape hobby and that look... :glare:

The longest I ever managed before vaping was 3 months, pure cold turkey, back in 1984 -- miserable every waking minute and even sleeping, too -- I would DREAM of smoking and then wake up, craving! After that, a couple of attempts with the patch, managing only about a week each time before I went so completely bonkers that my husband AND my son both begged me to smoke! When I was pregnant, naturally I tried, but the best I could do was cutting my usual 2 PAD down to 3 or 4 cigs a day; still, my doctor was pleased, and my son was born weighing nearly 8 lbs, at 40 and one half weeks -- full-term and then some!

I'm using the Owl, it's not bad for the price, the firing can be a bit finicky though.

I'm really torn on the REO clone. I really want to save up for an authentic, but I've been saying that for over a year now... I should really not let the wife handle the checkbook.

I think if something happens to my owl, I might get the CREO, if I haven't saved enough for an authentic by then.

I am appalled at the intolerance of what seems to be most wives. My husband collects coins and tools, neither of which interest me even a little -- but they make HIM happy, so they make me happy too! Do all these other wives think their husbands exist just to please THEM?

Yea, instead of being miserable I'm enjoying the heck out of vaping. What a difference!
