Modwomping my brand new istick 40 TC with a STM with stock Ni200 coil. 50/50 VG/PG juice and it's performing great. Super east to setup, switched it to TC with one button push, screwed on tha topper, asked if it was new one button push on Up-Arrow and it's vaping, adj to my preferred temperature and it's done!!

If it lasts better than the ill fated iStick 20's it's a winner for me.

The TPA Kentucky bourbon flavoring is the best I've found, and I'm often a bourbon drinker. It's the only one that really captures the true bourbon flavor.

Then I lucked out Stosh because that's what I bought. I'm really enjoying it too :)

I like a single vertical micro coil in my veritas, though I don't think TC plays well with micro coils. Single spaced coil should work fine too. I like to get one wick end down in the well and the other end(top) tucked into a side groove.
Indeed, tc does not.....it CAN be done, but must be perfect, or nothing but trouble, soft shorts, kicking out of tc etc...:p

I picture a tootle puffer as someone who uses cartos or non sub ohm clearos, or builds their RBA to mimic one of those devices in resistance and airflow, and uses them on a mod that maxes at 15w. Cloud chasers are those who are literally after the cloud, and willing to sacrifice flavor to achieve MOAR CLOUDZ. Anything in between is Womp Rat territory :D

I get it, people need to make money. I think some of it might be, if it's also sold in retail shops, they can't really undercut the price online, probably a retail contract thing. It just places things out of my price range. I really should get into DIY but I don't have the space/secure area away from my 4yo, or the startup costs right now.

When I was smoking, I didn't do much to cut costs. I got on coupon mailing lists, and sometimes I would buy different brand if they had the $1 off coupons on the packs. By the end, I was only smoking 1/2 PAD, but man did I smoke those. Smoking for me was a ritual, I went outside and did nothing else but have a drink. There was no looking down from a conversation to notice half my cig had burned away, I inhaled that thing from start to finish. Some of the people who smoke 2 or 3 PAD, I have to wonder how much they're actually inhaling, I mean at least some of them have to be just letting the cigs burn.

Me, too. If Winstons were on sale for $10 off a carton, I bought those.

And I smoked 16-18 a day, but I smoked the nitty gritty out of each one!

This right here. I'm paying for the convenience of ordering online and shipping, instead of undertaking a moderately serious renovation of the living room to give me a proper work area.

And this. I was a half-packer, mostly while driving, or computer gaming late at night. Those sticks never left my hand and I kept a very close account of just how many more drags I could suck off it.

Ok, who lost their istick? You might want to open it from the top and check the silicone gasket around the fire button. Repositioning it might fix it.
Thanks Roxy. i don't want to open it until I know my warranty is no good (which I suspect is the case). Then I will. I know sometimes the fire button parts just slip out of place.

You could save me some research and tell me what tiny tool I need for those fasteners. Looks like a tiny torx?

Has anyone found a flavour that they have to buy to enjoy vaping? Like when we used analogs in the past most of us stuck to one brand, is there an eliquid you've found that you just can't do without?

Excalibur from naturally-extracted-tobacco.com

I don't HAVE to buy it, but life sure is better when there's a bottle or two of this nectar sittin' in my vape cave when I get home from work.

@Lessifer, is this Tootle Puffing or Mod Womping?

That's why I truly despair of intelligence in some people... Everybody in the US who smokes or smoked, has/had some technique for saving money on the dratted coffin nails -- for myself, I bought 120's, so I could "smoke 'em twice" -- like 2 cigarettes in one paper tube.

And some total idiots decide that charging $1 per ml is a good idea?

What reality do they live in? Because it's sure not the same reality as the rest of us. Or maybe I should question the sanity of anyone who would actually PAY that. Because even .50/ml is more than twice what it's really worth, maybe more like 4 times its actual worth -- even with 3% WTA in mine, it's roughly .12/ml -- without the WTA, it drops to .08/ml.

Andria

Not gonna belabor the point, but a few e-liquid companies spend a lot of money producing a quality product. And the end result is worth it to me. It's not all about the cost of VG, PG, and nic.

And, yes, I've followed all the Diacetyl and Acetylpropinyl nonsense surrounding Five Pawns. And I've decided it's a nonsensical witch hunt. I don't care.

I've heard people say they use 5 and 5.5. I have 2 China made T6s that work fine with a slight looseness but never damaged a screw.
